Thanks for all your help!

I have players, APG, ultimate combat, ultimate magic, ultimate equipment.

What scrolls do you think would give me the best bang for the buck?

Thanks for all the help so far.

What "save or die" spells do you recommend?

LOL Nethys. I loved the (hammer of thor visual) magic and protection domains. again I know not optimized...

Hey all! I am in a sort of a strange situation. I don't play pathfinder very regularly, but when I do, it's in extremely intense, condensed timeframe. I go to a convention yearly where I play 9-10 sessions in a four day span, then might go most of the year before playing again. So... I have an 7th level dwarven cleric (transitioning to 8th) who doesn't really know what to buy. I keep intending to scour the books and crunch the numbers but it never really happens. So I am looking for help. I usually play as a support/back-up tank.

Stats:
str 14, dex 10, con 12, int 12, wis 18, cha 12 (stats are after any modifications)

I have approx 24,000 in gold and 38 fame.

I own:
+2 plate mail and normal shield
+2 ring of protection
+2 headband of inspired wisdom
ring of featherfall
pearl of power (1st level)
+1 cold iron warhammer
masterwork alchemical silver warhammer
wand of endure elements
rod of reach (lesser)

2 antiplague potions
2 anti-toxin potions
5 vials of alchemical fire
5 vials of holy water
pathfinder kit
dungeoneering kit

Yes, I know it's a mess. :)

I am willing to sell stuff that I don't need, (pearl of power comes to mind).

Any help would be greatly appreciated, the more specific the better.

thank-you

Why can a ranger use the wand?

And we did. Point taken. thank you. :)

Thank you for the comments above. But in the situation above, with no tank, and the only dps'r a 1st level rogue, I think that it wouldn't be an abuse of the "15 min adventuring day.".

I don't think that we can really prepare for those kinds of party make-ups can we?

I (as my subject notes) am new to the society. I just played in a game

The Devil We Know, Part III - Crypt of Fools. Our party consisted of two clerics, a monk, a ranger, and a rogue. The first encounter was pretty tough, and the clerics used up most of their spells.

I suggested resting to regain our spells. I was told "no" for a number of reasons. I question these reasons. can someone help? (for your information, I didn't make a big stink about it, but just let the game go on).

Reasons:

1) pathfinder society games don't allow for resting. That's why people save their spells until the end.

2) The module doesn't say we could rest. (I read the whole module, it doesn't say one way or the other.) The GM said

Spoiler:
that if we waited the slaves would be carried off into the underdark. I don't agree, the module even implies that many of the slaves had been there a long time. I understand that's a GM's interpretation, what do you guys think

3) I mentioned that clerics can regain their spells with one hour of contemplation, not 8 hours rest. They only can do it once a day, but it doesn't have to accompany rest. I was told that that was not how the society does things.

I can't find any of these explanations in the books or online. Am I totally off base here?

If a player dies mid-adventure, you should stop worrying about the game and call an ambulance.

Nah, we, like troopers, kept going and used the dead guy as a foot rest. Since the guy was a loudmouth anyways, we welcomed the quiet.

Player X dies in adventure. He doesn't have enough PP to raise/res/what have you. Nor does he have enough cash to do it.

Can he combine and pay for his resurrection partially by PP and the rest cash? If he can, what is the exchange rate for PPs?

I am new to this society, and this player is more of a veteran, and has done similar activities in the past. Specifically, bought a magic item, paying partially with PPs and the rest by cash.

rulings?

Thanks in advance.

So why then are they still able to be chosen in GM reporting section? (No others are) When chosen, they look exactly the same as other scenarios.

But you can still log them in as sessions. Do the players not get credit for them?
