It's been 5 years since Pathfinder caught my eye. I tried to deny it at first, because I was getting in on the ground floor of 4e and working as the writing director for my region the Living Forgotten Realms. I didn't want to divide my limited budget for gaming goodies between two systems. Then D&DNext was announced and I really, really tried to like the new system, and for a while, I almost had myself convinced...

... but then I began examining my options again. I looked at Pathfinder and I was reminded of the days when I most loved my D&D game, the 3.Xe days. I saw for the first time just how slick and refined the ruleset had become, and I really got interested.

So here we are. You've got me, Pathfinder. I'm all in. What do the seasoned players recommend I do first?

Just placed my order on Amazon for volume 1 (Wandering Monster). I noticed this became available for pre-order on Amazon in 2008... is this product ever getting released? If so, do want. If not, Paizo, why you no publish?

;)

It's a new online short video series... and it's surprisingly good.

I humbly offer this video snackrifice to you, the Paizonians.

Hey everyone!

So, I'm looking for a quote from "Come Endless Darkness". It was featured in the table of contents of the final print issue of Dungeon. Can somebody help me out? I don't have access to my Dungeon archive right now, and I regrettably can not get to a copy of that glorious novel either. Can somebody help me out?

I recently had an idea to have a D&D campaign where players can do both regular D&D roleplaying, but can also be involved in larger combats, using the miniatures rules for a streamlining effect. I am just wondering if this sounds like a feasible idea? All players could control their characters, mini-stat-card style, while the DM (and potentially, in this case, co-DMs) runs the opposition? Do all players get a commander rating? I know it raises a fair number of questions, but I kind of like the idea of a more epic feel derived from more epic combats, and being able to switch things up in the campaign from time to time.

Hi there, everyone! I recently started using the big Lands of Mystery map for my game. The player characters recently left Deepwatch, and they're planning to hire on with the Darkmaiden's Dance's crew. I was wondering what other people have done in their D&D campaigns with the Maps of Mystery supplements, and if anyone has actually used the Lands of Mystery map also.

I have a little query here. I am planning some very extensive campaigning in the World of Greyhawk, and I know that there were a few magazine issues, both Dragon and Dungeon, which contained regional feats for Greyhawk and that there were some articles specifically tailored toward the paladins of Greyhawk as well. Can anyone tell me which issues they were?
