I have sent you guys multiple e-mails about this already but your inbox is so backed up that the emails won't be read in time. My card issuer told me that there was an attempt to double charge the card and that is why the payment method was declined. They had received a request from you to hold $236.03 (which is the cost of the order minus the modified shipping fees) on or around the day I placed the order (9/5) and then received another request to hold $238.28 (the correct value that should have been requested in the first place) on 9/21. They said that if you just go back and remove that initial hold of $236.03 and attempt to process the order again at the right holding value of $238.28, there should be no issue.

So right now I'm panicking to be blunt, which is why I made this thread as well as the email, as I thought the latter might not have sent for some reason, even though it probably hasn't been long enough for a reply. I am horribly sorry for the trouble but I really need help/ an answer for this, and I am also sorry if I am be impatient/ troublesome.

Hello? anyone? I really need an answer for this. Lost sleep stressing over this missing pdf of mine

I just received a refund for my purchase today, so you may wanna check your account statement to see if it got refunded for you as well. If it did, then I wouldn't see any harm in putting the order for the missing book back through, but only put that book in the order and nothing else to see if that works... But that's just what I would do.

I am having the exact same problem, with the exact same item. I have already checked my card account balance and the full purchase went through, so it would be nice to get the PDF that I payed for...
