Hello fellow roleplayers and thanks for stopping by! I wanted to make an efficient titan mauler for this AP and am having some trouble figuring it out. I can't seem to decide on what rage powers and feats to choose. I thought about being a grappler type but not sure if that would even be viable since I hear lots of giants are in this campaign. I was also thinking of 2 weapon fighting feats possibly but with me having the option of wielding weapons bigger than me from giants and the like I wonder if I should even consider those feats at all. With those who have run it I was wondering if you could maybe make a few suggestions, I want to do lots of things with this guy but I know I gotta focus. Any help would be appreciated and thanks for the replies all!
Hello all. I am about to start playing in an LoF campaign and was hoping I could get some help on building my character a bit so it's well themed and not too odd in LoF. I know almost nothing about this AP or where it even takes place. I am basically in the dark haha. So my plan was an Ifrit crossblooded sorcerer who plans to become a dragon disciple as early as possible. I was planning on being of draconic bloodline and haven't decided on the other one yet (was hoping maybe there is a unique bloodline available for this AP?). I was planning on using favored class alternative option from the ifrit race to dip into efreeti and fire bloodline powers. What do you guys think? Would this sort of concept work for this campaign? My GM said that the Ifrit race was alright and seemed kinda happy about the choice for whatever reason. Thanks for any help or suggestions! Have a great one and take it easy :)
Been thinking about my character for months and I know I want to play a cavalier being this is the perfect campaign but I also want to do a battle herald. I want to be king! I was thinking maybe battle herald for all those good old buffs and still have great bab and hp but yet straight cavalier is so awesome imo. I want my character to still be tankish (alternative tank is a monk) and also be able to take out my enemies. I love the higher end cavalier abilities with the challenges and free trip attempts and such but also battle herald would be in general better for the party... Also is there any good alternative mount that could be useful or cool for this campaign? Haha I have already heard being a goblin on a goblin dog lol. Thanks for any help :)
Well probably my favorite was when the red dragon awakens beneath Cauldron and attacks, it swallowed our duskblade and the duskblade survived in there for about 12 rounds...doing alot of vampiric touch's and can't remember the other spell but it was pretty impressive. More damage dealt inside the dragon than what was being done outside the body. Also outside the shadow keep (or whatever that place is after you destroy cauldron) we were attacked by the dragon that was allied with the cagewrights at the core of the volcano attacked us and in 2 rounds we dropped it with almost no difficulty (we had missed the dragon on accident originally and we had chopped the tree down in the volcano so it completely destroyed the city).
I was wondering if there is some extension on the urban druid shapes in any magazine? My friend has been running me through this awesome Sharn adventure thats really detective like and kicks ass....anyways the urban druid enemy in this setting is able to turn into a Raven which isn't on the list inside the Dragon Compendium at all. He showed it to me and there isn't a reason with his abilities or anything why he can do that at all so I just thought if there was some resource I have missed or something. |
