Two against Triel

One against Dhorlot (First of three encounter before they kill the dragon)

After 21 sessions, the group have finished Flood season. They are level 5 (4-6).
They only found the elevator after visiting all of Jzadirune. They managed to kill the guards at the entrance of the kopru ruins but then wanted to try the strange button and raise the alarm. They had a bit of difficulty against the Ebon triad .
We play 5 hours by session.

The first dead (2) were recent (an unprepared encounter against Triel).
I have 8 players but usually 4-6 presents. They are all experienced except one.

Hello, my blog has changed its address.
The adventurers are near the end of chapter 2. You can find some abstracts, background and other articles about my campaign located in Birthright.

Hope it works for you, my Age of Worms ended with a rather treachorous betrayal and shortly afterwards a TPK. Best of luck

Thanks.

For now, I changed the race of some of the foes or people (no drow or gnome in Birthright). For exemple, I made Jzadirune a dwarven place.
I also changed the deities. I had some problem with We jas as there is no real god of death in Birthright. Eventually, I took Eloéle, the godess of night and thieves and one of the PC is a thief-cleric of Eloéle so It could be interesting in the future.
I placed the Cauldron in Brechtür, in Rheulgard exactly, because the type of culture match and it's a pretty savage land except in the cities. There's just a problem with the climate because Cauldron in surrounded by jungle, not really the type of brecht forests but Rheulgard is not far from the Tarvan waste (dry and desolate lands).

I think it begins good and hope everybody will enjoy it.

PS : sorry for my not so fluent english

I bought it 10 years ago and was very interested in it for one main reason : this campaign world and system, gives you the possibility to play lords (landlord but head priest, guild master or kingdom wizard too) and rule your domain. I wanted to give my group possibilities to gain and develop a kingdom of their own and to fight in politics as well as againts monsters. It adds a new dimension to the game.
It is a classical world (same races with some changes) but well done and the idea of bloodline from divine power is interesting too with the awnsgheghlien (horror twisted by the blood of the evil god Azrai) as big vilains.

As we haven't explore it completely yet and my players like it and have bonds with its history, I have decided to keep it for my new campaign.

Hello,

I have created a blog to present and store infos on my new campaign Shackled city based in Birthright (resumes, background, etc.) :

Sorry for english speaking but the blog is in french.

We are an old group of players (20 years gaming) and we go now from AD&D 2 to D&D 3.5.

Shackled city is a great adventure and I hope my players will enjoy it.
