Scenario 2A has a During the Scenario instruction of "When you defeat xxx, add the new location Ship and shuffle the villain into it."
I can't find the Ship location and I don't see it on either card list.

I think these statements are correct.

What happens if too many Harrows of the appropriate suit are already in players' decks, such that there aren't enough to draw one for each player? Right now my solution is "try not to do that."

I like the idea of returning Harrows of the current draw suit and drawing from the full set.

But I came up with that after looking through the all the blessings three times trying to find the 9th shield Harrow before realizing it may be in a deck. ;p


I think I've confused myself on when a spell can be cast or displayed during an encounter-
Can the promo spell Embiggen (Freely display next to a local character) be played after an encounter has started? For example; Kyra encounters, displays Embiggen, then can attack or cast a spell (because Embiggen says freely).
In contrast Mirror Image just says Display. If Ezren encounters, displays Mirror Image; that's the spell for the encounter. In order to use an Attack spell, he would have needed to play Mirror Image before the encounter?


In Scenario 1C the 4th Henchman is Homunculus (Lodo). This scenario also uses the Eldrich story banes and #3 is Homunculus. I rolled a 3 while the Homunculus was still in a location. Am I doing the random story bane part correct?

My core arrived yesterday! Played the demo adventure (more different than I thought). I'm going to start again on Normal. Since I also have Crimson Throne can I use level 0 cards from that set as well? I'm thinking of it like the Character add-on, where you need the extra stuff; especially with a large group. Or should they stay separate?


Nice! With the Troublemaker role which adds a (+3) option and a maxed out Dexterity (also +3), she becomes a much better fighter.

I'm assuming Blessings of Erastil (2 dice for combat Dexterity checks) works on this as well?


Bekah the Bard has the power "For your check that has or is against a card that has the Finesse trait, you gain the skill Melee: Dexterity +1".

If her Dexterity skill has a +1 modifier does that get added as well?


My original quote was a misquote-

So am I still discarding for its power? Or did I display for the power and now I'm discarding. Is there a distinction there?


Ezren's Spell Sage role has the "When you would discard a spell that has the Arcane trait, you may display it instead. At the end of your turn, recharge all such spells"

Does this work for spells like Toxic Cloud or Chain Lightning that are displayed before the discard? I'm guessing not, unless there is something in End of Turn timing that would effect the when it goes from displayed to discarded...

Bringing this post back-not quite dead yet (although the title may be misleading:)

I ran into the barrier Lightning Storm.
"Display this barrier next to your location.
While displayed, when you start your turn...."

Based on Irgy's reply above it says "you"; does that mean the storm only applies to the character that encounters it originally?
I've been bouncing it around while it zaps all characters.

Which of the characters looks interesting to you? Maybe pick one and build around them. At the beginning I tried to use simpler characters as I would miss using a power or too.

And the link was quite helpful. It makes more sense now. Displaying at the location seems odd at first, but I can see why.


The Lamp of Fiery Visions has powers of
"Display this card next to a location. While displayed you may recharge this card to examine the top 2 cards of this location deck."

If another character is at the location where it is displayed, can they recharge it? Or only the character who displayed?

The When Closing for location Shifting Dunes has "Summon and defeat the henchman Giant Sand Eel"

Giant Sand Eel has
"If undefeated, shuffle this card into a random open location deck and discard a card"

"If defeated, shuffle this card into a random other open location deck, and you may attempt to close the location this henchman came from"

What happens if undefeated and then I try to close the empty location? The card is in another location.

How does this work if defeated? The location closes from the defeat? But the Sand Eel gets shuffled into another location?

The Warrior of Wrath says "If undefeated, the Warrior of Wrath deals 1d4 Force damage to a random character at your location". Is this after the normal damage when failing a check (the difference) or instead of?

Is this still accurate? With the rule - "If a loot card ends up in a location deck, you automatically acquire it when you encounter it." they could be shuffled in and encountered. Or is it still-if not taken, never again?


Does player 2 have to be at the same location to use items? If using blessings?


Another newbie question (or two)

Should this be a new thread (asking about drawing from box)? Or just keep the beginner stuff together?

My question is about "draw 1 item from the box'.
Is that a random draw from all items in the box? Just basic items or all that has been opened so far? I also have the character add on pack.

Hey! I just got Mummy's Mask today. My first time with PACG. Theres a lot to absorb; pointing me towards any new player instruction would be appreciated.

I'm playing the abbreviated intro and have a question on closing the Precious Mine. The text to close says 'Succeed at Strength or Melee check". Can a weapon be used for this if the text on the weapon says "For combat check add "? I'm guessing no.
