BUMP, in hope of being directed to a secret vault


I wonder if anyone has done a sort of repository of all OGL content which has been done since 8 years, a kind of common knowledge website, not unlike d20srd.org, but with all the OGL every company has created. That would be good for the future, don't you think ?


Sure, the PHB has a lot of combat spells, but I'mù more interested in spells you make a living with, which are too few in my opinion. These spells are primarily used by NPCS professional wizards (or druids,clerics,adepts,...), the sort of spell merchants or nobles woud pay for (not a fireball).

Any ideas ? Be it homebrew or from a book (would like to pay for it).

For instance, I've found a big lot of utilitarian spells ine Rolemaster system. I just need to convert them.


I've two main ideas I would like developed :

- tell me which existing dungeons seem well-constructed and coherent to you (sunless citadell cited above is quite cool)

- tell me your best boss ideas, by boss, I mean the authority which has developed the dungeon and the main critter to battle too (the example above was a beholder)

We're on the trail here. That's not what I thought, but it seems it's the preparatory work for his article in dragon magazine (if it's really him)


I can't begin to express my gratitude at reading all this. Your different opinions have widened my view on the subject and I'm bubbling with a few adventures waiting to be written and played.

I hope some other people will continue to give advice on the subject here (or that previous posters will elaborate), as I'm always willing to learn more.


I remember an article (by monte cook perhaps) about not using spells like detect evil and such. It was replaced by other abilities. In short, it was an article about not using alignments. I can't find it.

Ok, that sounds weird, but I've always been reluctant to DM dungeons as I thought them highly unrealistic. Bu now I would like to have one, be it a real product, or homebrew. I'm also asking about tips or concepts if you have, so I can satisfy my players (wo whant hack'n slash) and myself (who want something coherent).

In short, why are there monsters in this dungeon ?

Could you help me ?

The fact that lots of the nations of Golarion are pretty open homages to real-world cultures is hardly surprising. The fact that several of the adventure paths make casual reference to gay or bisexual characters is almost unheard-of.

What impresses me more than all of this is that Paizo isn't stepping on eggshells to get all of this done. They're showing respect without deference, courtesy and fairness without apology or preference. It continues to earn Paizo my loyalty as a customer and a fan. Thank you, Paizo people.

You've never played Shadow world by ICE, don't you ? It's full of homosexuals, and the game is not new.
