Own it already for lazy day GMing purposes. :) So not a problem for us! Thanks for the tip, though. We might not have brought it along if we had not known.

Thanks folks. Found the ones on the download page, but yeah, they are pretty limited. Would be awesome if the NPC Codex characters were legal. :)

Hi folks --

My husband and I are going to Paizo Con this weekend and were hoping to have the ability to play in some games! But all of the level 1 games seem to be filled. Is it possible to create or find pre-gens for levels above 1 in order to play in these games?

We have both been playing and running Pathfinder games with friends for many years (basically since release) but do not have any experience with Pathfinder society. :)

Thank you!

Level 5. Dex 18, Cha 16, Int 14, Con/Str 10, Wis 8.

I'm considering multi classing my ninja because my party lacks for AOE damage and I took a reasonable Int for the skillz.. Is this a terrible plan? The adventure path is very low gold or I'd be loading up on some AOE consumables.

Thanks for responding, guys. :) After these posts and talk with a friend who is also playing a ninja, I am sticking with melee. Shirukens are going to be relegated to "things to deliver poison in boss battles with" later in the campaign when poisons are actually feasible.

On sneak attack from ranged:
I'm building a ninja, and I'm still debating whether I want to focus myself on ranged or melee sneak attack. Our party generally lacks melee fighters, except for the tank, which both makes me nervous about the potential for sneak attacks but also compels me somewhat to go to melee for the sake of keeping enemies off the squishier members of the party (IE: the blind oracle).

What are the potential circumstances for getting sneak attack from ranged? I know of:
1. General winning of initiative and catching them flat-footed.
2. Attacking from hiding, which means any round after the first you're going to be: move action-hide (hopefully succeeding), getting one attack in.
3. ???

With the high Charisma I need for the ninjas ki pool, it seems like bluff/feint at melee to compensate for the possible lack of a flank partner is the better route, but I also just love the idea of lobbing my shirukens from the shadows like a true ninja. ;)

On poison:
Does anyone know how long poison stays once applied? Is it reasonable to expect I can "pre-poison" some shirukens before a battle starts? The DM is giving me a day right now, which is reasonable, but I want to make sure that is correct.

On shirukens:
Since shirukens are ammunition, what are the masterwork rules for them? Are they the 6 GP per still? That seems a bit unreasonable since they are fully recoverable (or are they not fully recoverable?).
