English is not my first language so I have a tedious license understanding question We are a podcasting and live actual play team. We dont use much material but still we are working under Community Use.
This summer we want to write a homebrew rules pdf which will be under Compatibility License, because we want to publish it on drivethrurpg for a cost. So for licensing purposes we will become a "commercial publisher". The compatibility license says "If you're a commercial publisher, you may only use the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Compatibility License. If you're a non-commercial user, you may use either or both, depending on what you're doing." So does this line is only for things with a fee, or anything me and my team produces, even if its not in written form, cannot use comunity use after we publish some paid content.
So another way to put this question is this: Can a big commercial publisher using Compatibility License use Community Use License for free adventures they publish?
Sorry for my bad explanation, we want to be very cautious even though we are a small foreign team. We love paizo and do not want to do anything wrong.
