yes, but a gargantuan rifle also shoots gargantuan amunition, compare this to your normal rifle that uses gravity bow to shoot large ammo.

All I'm saying is, you can just grab the bigger gun for a constant, mundane gravity affect with only -2 attack (and you target touch AC).

Also I believe that gravity doesn't work on gargantuan things, altough I may be wrong.

p.s. as it is now, gravity bow works on bolts and arrows, altough a lenient GM would of course accept that it was written before UC.

Ahhh, I see the point you're making. Forgive my misreading of your post, and shame on me for browsing forums at 3:00 am ;)

their is no need for gravity anything on guns.
As discussed in another thread you can wield whatever size of weapon you want, you suffer a -2 penalty per increase, but by RAW, as handedness doesn't change, you can wield a gargantuan double hackbutt as a pixie.

However the rules as intended (and your GM) will slap you silly if you try this. I think it's likely that a future FAQ will replace "handedness doesn't change" with "it's impossible to wield different sized weapons".

Edit: Giant ammunition still costs as much as a small dose.

I think you're confusing the mechanics of the spell with what it actually does. It increases the density of the ammunition in the instant before it hits the enemy. It does not increase the size of the weapon.
