How do you go about figuring a magic items caster level? Using table 15-29 it gives you the rules to figure out the gold cost but I can't find anywhere about figuring out the caster level of a item that's not in the book. I understand that you can make the cl higher for resistance but just needed to know how you find the base CL to create the item before modification.
Minimum level to meet all the stuff in the "requirements" line.
