There are a good number of PFS groups in the South East part of Michigan. The website is mostly SW Michigan right now as that's where our Venture Captain is located and pushing the site, but there several from SE and more every week.

I moved to Portage/Kalamazoo five years ago from Missouri. I recently found the SW Michigan PFS and our Venture Captain. The website is very helpful for games across the state and includes nearby Con information.

For the cost, I would get the four day. There is plenty to do from events to pickup games to seeing all the vendors. Especially as an Indy resident with parking! You can come and go whenever you want.

May I ask what is the proper etiquette on asking your GM questions during a gaming session?

As a newish player, I sometimes have a question regarding rules or how to play my character and will ask before we start or during a break. However, recently I didn't understand my faction mission and during a pause in play I consulted the GM at the table as privately as I could. I was brief and did my best not to interrupt the flow of the session.

Was this an appropriate way to handle the situation? Does anyone use notes to communicate with the GM in game?

I TPK'd my table, on the first combat vs. zombies. It was a perfect storm, no one had slashing weapons, all of them 1st levels. Last zombie had 2 hp, and rolled a crit on the still standing sorceror. :(
