Actually, there are times when it's necessary...we were finishing up Hook Mountain last night and my Harsk was down to 0 cards to draw...so I was accumulating things simply for hit points. Got a sweet shortbow and some potion of puke that I would have rather banished - but hey, a dwarf's gotta drink something (he was out of tea)
