Sorry where does it say it has to be dont in a single round? The example given says exposure to camp fire for a round would be enough, but not that it must occur in the same round. The only issue might be that the cold damage would excess the frost forged ability to use, causing the blade to break. If you were to have a sheath with some Siccatite however you could have ur blade in there for 10 rounds, then draw it for the 1d4 of damage for 2 rounds, or 1d6 for 4 if ur armour is also frost forged.

But, I don't think this will stack with Hedge Magician as they are both magic traits, and the rules for selecting traits says you can dip into the same pool twice.

Though if you do plan on making lots of magic items from metal, this would be a better effect as you could get 5% of the cost to make the MW item, and another 5% off the enchanting costs once you get to that step.

There is the dwarf alternative racial trait 'craftman' it replaces the greed trait. That would stack with with either Eldritch Smith or Hedge Magician, which ever you prefer.So a total saving of 10% not half bad :)

There is one way, but its kinda loop holey and might lock you into a path u dont want. If you took the Dragonblood Chymist archetype you gain Explosive Breath:

"At 1st level, a dragonblood chymist gains the ability to expel fire from his mouth in the same manner as a dragon. He gains the breath weapon bomb alchemist discovery but must apply this discovery to every bomb he creates.
This ability replaces the Throw Anything ability."

Because u get the "breath weapon bomb alchemist discovery" you do have the discovery class feature, and could take the extra discovery feat.
But as I said it is clearly a loop hole. Id say your DM might not allow it, but if they are ok with it, and you are, who cares, its your game have fun :)
