Well at least we're not too far apart, I'm in the St. Louis area. I'll keep checking in today to see what you decide.

I decided after watching and reading a few more reviews that I definitely want to run 4E with the group I have. I really need a simple fun system for newbs that don't want to read through a bunch of books just to play. I'll definitely trade with you Wu Chi so shoot me an email at litebritedeath at gmail dot com and we will figure out specifics.

And to everyone else I still have a new copy of the pathfinder campaign setting that i am interested in trading for 4th edition material. Mainly interested in Eberron but i am up for anything.

thanks!!

I have the 4th Edition PH and DM Guide gathering dust on a bookshelf. They are both brand new, opened them a total of maybe 5 times. If you want to trade the PF Core Rulebook for those, even up, you've got a deal. Just need to work out logistics. Let me know if you are interested.

very interested!! let me see if anyone else comes along with any other trades today. if no other trades look appealing i am totally down with trading. I am located in Kansas by the way.

Make sure to hold onto the Core books and Eberron books if you have them!!

If you start with the basics, PFRPG will work very well for new players, and you will not run into the system limitations later as my players did. 4e is a bit easier to GM, but PFRPG (3.5+, if you will) yields greater variety at the start as well as down the road. It really depends on your players and whether they are looking for a quick and easy way to kill some time, or something more involved, with greater depth.

I have at this moment all of my 4e stuff (a few hundred bucks worth) in a box in the back of my car. As soon as my wife is ready, we are going to try to return/sell/trade all of it to a couple of FLGSs.

Ah, she's ready now... off we go!

I may trade you what I have left after this quest :)

Before anyone kills me let me explain. I played D&D 3.5 for awhile when I was 19(26 now) and decided to get back into gaming. The thing is I will be the DM this time around and all my friends that are willing to play have never played a pen and paper rpg. After looking over the SRD and lots of thinking I am pretty sure I will have an easier smoother time teaching them 4E then the 3.5 system.

So heres the deal. I have a brand new copy of the Pathfinder Core Rulebook(have not even opened the package lol) and a new copy of the Pathfinder Campaign Setting. I'm looking for someone to trade me their 4E books for my Pathfinder books. I am mainly interested in the Core Books and the Eberron Setting. Let me know if your interested in trading and we will work something out!!

thanks!!

p.s. I also do not mind people posting their opinions on which would be easier for a total Newbie group(including the DM) to run.

would anyone be willing to pick up rough magicks and Arkham Detective tales from the pelgrane press booth?? I would be i willing to trade the new pathfinder core rules and the campaign setting. Neither have ben used.

let me know if you can help me out!!!

I am usually a lurker but this hit home so I thought I would share. Definitely get a lawyer. Like stated they only get paid if your SSI goes through. I have been denied 2 times and appealed and finally just got to talk to a judge a few weeks ago. SSI is all about your ability to work a FULL time job, any full time job available in the US market. They will have a person that looks at your condition and decides if you could work anything. With my mental illnesses they could not come up with any jobs so I am hoping for the best.
