DAMN! Can,t believe their risking it again they should take a que from Peter Jackson and those who did Record of Lodoss War.
I hate to see a good product look like crap just to make a few bucks.

I always catch episodes of the daily show,A total laugh riot for me. (Kind of sad that Jon Stewart is doing a better job than CNN and such).
Im also watching reruns of aqua teen hunger force,The brak show and home movies.

Here are a few of my house rules:
Feats can be gained through doing certin things well, like when one of my players played a barbarian/ranger and he pretty much grappled in all his fights so I gave him improved grapple for free when he successfully grappeled a troll at 3rd lv so in my game if you apply a skill to alot of situations and do it well you get a feat that helps you out in that particular skill or combat manuver.

I am also thinking of allowing parrying from the TMNT rules by palladium books which you use your base attack bonus + a d20 roll v.s. your opponents attack roll if you succeed by beating your opponents roll you parry with your weapon but it comes at a cost your weapon takes damage and could very well break if it is worn out meaning you get hit and take halve damage from the attack.

Pcs can choose any race in the PHB and can multiclass freely without exp penaltys.

I use hero points which work like force points in the Star Wars rpg.(D20 version).

When a 1 is rolled the player must make a dex check at dc 12 if failed that player loses his dex mod to ac for the round, and they also lose their actions. This effect is no longer applyed at 5th lv and beyond.

Abilitys are determined by the suggested 4d6 arrange as desired.

The warhammer with the keen ability would be 19-20/x3 the crit multiplier does not go down it stays the same.
Hope this helps ,good luck.

Well thanks to you all for giving your input and sharing your stories with how you deal with it in your games.I really appreciate the thoughts you all had on the subject.
Thanks to all.

Offing the party,I have done that a few times but it only happens when i feel the campaign is going nowhere and it's like I can,t take it any further. But now I just end the campaign and let them keep the characters so they can use them in another adventure or have them appear as npc's in a different campaign.

Well that was alot to take in and I did not ask the question as someone who's against gays I simply ment it in game terms and understand now how sensitive this subject is and am sorry to those who took offense to my question after all my country (Canada)has basicly allowed same sex unions and to me it does not matter if two men/women want to get married.

It's almost as if the whole issue has a trigger in most peoples minds that just sets them off cause like it or not both sides have their opinions though i agree with those that support it and hope someday the issue rid,s itself of the nasty aura that surrounds it.

I would talk to the player out of game. If you envisioned this as a problem for the religion as you saw it, I would present it to the player in that way. Give her a chance to present her viewpoint... perhaps she sees a role in the religion that you didn't, but would be amenable to. You might suggest that her paladin choose a diety that might be accepting of such relationships, or even that her character chose to become a paladin to prove that people in gay and lesbian relationships could do good works.

Perhaps she is not a paladin of a good diety, but rather a paladin dedicated to good as a concept...

There are a lot of ways through this issue, but a lot depends on the age of your players, and how "adult" of a campaign you run. In a hack and slash campaign, the sexual orientation of the players doesn't matter much, but in a game filled with NPCs and political intrigue it can become much more important

Well I allowed the player to play the paladin with no problem I just wanted to get input from a rules perspective but it appears to have blown up and formend into something that is now out of my hands.

In the Age of worms game a player decided to be a female paladin that was a lesbian ,I allowed it but I am wondering if paladins would or are allowed to with their strong morals?

Back in the age of 1997 when i first played I decided to be a gnome wizard that could use a short sword (BEWARE THE GNOME WITH THE BLADE!).I could cast burning hands and loved to roll under my opponents legs and give them a nice massage with my sword but I will always remember those first games for it is what made me decide to dm and eversince I have enjoyed providing adventures for my friends and hope to game till i'm old mabye even teach my grandchildren if ever.

That's the crazy thing about 3e and the way you can mix the races to create wild original and sometimes strange things like a human lich halfdragon vampiric werewolf half troll out of control wombat eater.
