Having only read the first three so far, they are all correct. The portrait of Chammady on book three fits her description from book two, exactly.

Actually, the adventure reads "If forced open, the crux crumbles to ashes and any objects it contains appear on the ground at the site of the fiery burst."

The objects inside are subject to the fiery blast, but not automatically destroyed. You can assume that the head would likely survive, as well as the silver box and maybe even the wands. The portfolio and the scrolls are almost definitely destroyed.

Between the information that Ailyn has and the experiences of Khazrae, as well as some decent information gathering, it's possible that the party could piece together some of the information about the lost Pathfinders. They should, at least, be able to track down Ghaelfin and Coriana... which is a decent start.

Our fifth player hammed it up playing a non-speaking part. He became good friends with Millec and played his "role" as trumped up stage dressing.

As for the added difficulty, I use the simplified advancement rules in the Bestiary, however, the +4 to AC is way too high, so I use all the advancement and reduce the AC bonus to +2 instead.

Well, you could always have the character cast as Dentris and then the badger is a familiar. At that point, the animal companion is not only part of the character, but also part of the costume and since they are expected to appear at the party in costume, it's no faux-pas.
