the "Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG" from Goodman Games is like an "Old School Retro-Clone" of basic D&D (Elves, Dwarves, and Halflings are classes, not "Races", for example). And it has some rules for 0 level game groups. I played in such a game at a recent con (run by the author, Joeseph Goodman, himself).

The book IS a bit thick, but it's a kind of all-in-one game book, and it's not dense hard to read prose.

Exodus _IS_ the Fallout RPG. They had a deal with the original publishers of Fallout (after their deal with GURPS fell through), but their license failed before they could get Exodus out the door. So, they had to change the name and some details.

But, if a "Fallout RPG" is what you want, Exodus is it.

As Malach points out, it's a bit sold-out for print copies. However, Drivethru / rpgnow have the PDF's.

So has anyone tried out D6 Fantasy lately?

I just bought the PDF's. I've always admired the system, and I'm looking for a light, but flexible and customizable, system to run in the near future (which would be more "techno-fantasy" or "sci-fi/fantasy" than pure fantasy) ... but I'm also trying to find resources for it, on line. Like ... a larger/on-line collection of spells and powers.

But the WEG forums look quite a bit deserted ... and I'm not sure where else to look.

Any ideas about the location of active d6 system (fantasy, space, adventure, etc.) forum communities?
