Wow, super excited for this. I have a bookshelf of all the other Pathfinder novels, but think I will ebook + audio this as I just don't find it comfortable to hold hardbacks for long chunks of time anymore. (Not at all a complaint, I love the ability to pick a different format - or in this case, two formats, on kindle + audio - to meet my personal preferences and needs.)

I hope that it does well enough that we get a few other novels. And really happy to see more Liane Merciel writing in the Pathfinder-verse.

I'm running Curse of the Crimson Throne, we are just about to finish part 4. I've been really impressed with the adventure path - good mix of roleplaying and problem solving opportunities with generally fun and interesting combat encounters.

It does have a fair bit of direction, even though four of the six parts are urban, so I wouldn't worry about that part too much.

I would buy these in a flash. I essentially end up making something similar for myself for each fight, and constantly wishing I had something like this.

Or to put it another way, "if you build it, I will come".
