Sorry if this has been posted before, I can't find it anywhere though.

For example say we have this poison " frequency 1/round for 6 rounds; effect 1d4 Dex; cure 1 save" ( from the giant whiptail centipede)

Does the damage taken last until the 6 rounds end or the save is made and then become cured or is the victim stuck with any damage they've suffered until it's cured by magic or something else?

Equally if they're knocked unconscious by the poison do they come back to life once the 6 rounds end or they make their save or does that last until they can get a proper cure?

Thanks.

Thanks for the help. Think I get it now.

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I can't seem to find the basic rules for multiclassing anywhere so I thought I'd ask.

How do I work out my base saves and BAB if I multiclass?

For example if I start barbarian level 1 and go into fighter level 1 do I add up the bonuses? So I get +4 fort and +2 bab? If I then add a level of Monk do I have 6 fort, 2 reflex, 2 will and still +2 bab?

And what happens if I advance? How do I then work out what my saves and bab are if I take another level in fighter in that situation? As a level 2 fighter has +3 fort +2 bab do I then add that on top of what I already have?? Or does it just get ignored?

Also how does the BAB of your second attack get calculated? I'm a level 6 fighter and multiclass into barbarian is my bab 7/1? or 7/2?

Or if I'm a fifth level fighter and multiclass into barbarian is my bab 6? or is it 6/1?

I'm getting myself really confused, could anybody tell me how it works or link me to the information? Though I can't find anything in the books that tells me.
