I had copied over a change and left off an important line of my entry- which if added would have put me over the limit by two words. So I'm greatly disappointed with myself for missing the error and being disqualified. Nevertheless, I want to wish all of the contestants luck on the next round. Now that I'm no longer a threat, if anyone needs to bounce ideas off someone or anything, please feel free to PM me. The best thing I can do is try to help others. Good luck all! And remember, negative comments are often a reflection of the individual. It's science! (haters gonna hate study link)
It's been a rough week for me. I had a fellowship application due at five as well (submitted this morning). I had most of my entry completed, but not polished. My wife needed help, which kept me out of the house until 3pm EST. Regardless, it's submitted (and I'm sure with a few glaring errors) at 598 words. According to google, my original name was being used by an amputee lingerie model (I'm not sure which of those adjectives to put first!). Good luck to you all, I'm going to go spend a few hours trying to calm down!
I bought a new copy of the first bestiary and brought it home only to find that the front cover and binding wasn't glued to the pages (about half the front cover and all of the center of the binding are not adhered). I did not purchase it directly from Paizo: I bought it out of state, and am unable to return it. So I was wondering if there was anyone with advice on how to re-glue it safely without ruining the book. It won't stop me from using it, but it will make me a lot more overprotective of its fragile state. Thanks!
