I am helping my local library again this year with a Mini Gaming Con towards the end of May. Last year me, my wife, and several of our gaming friends ran several different RPG games (Pathfinder, WarHammer RPG, WOD, PonyFinder) for the people in attendance (last year was about 125 people for the 1st year). Most of these were kids middle school through high school age.

Last year I ran We Be Goblins in both of the time slots and most of the players had a blast. I know that this year I could run We Be Goblins Too, but I was wondering if there were some other suggestions for scenarios either PFS or a 3rd party that was pathfinder compatible. We don't run these as society games since most of the people in attendance are new to gaming or don't want to be bothered with signing up for a society character number.

My problem is with some of the PFS scenarios that I have played, they are not that enjoyable. I understand that you can not have a AP level of development in a 4 hr time slot. But most are a simple go do this task and it is done. Most of the encounters are not challenging in my opinion. So what would ask of you all are some recommendations for some enjoyable and somewhat challenging scenarios for me to run.

So give me some suggestions for either PFS scenarios or third party scenarios. I was hoping for somethign maybe around 3-4th level using pre-gens. Thanks

Just make sure that the operating system of the tablet will allow you to run HeroLab. You can run HeroLab on a computer and the iPad, but other operating systems are not supported at this time.

Silbeg,

Over the weekend at a Charcon, I recieved a PFS boon that would let you by +1 or +2 ammo in lots of 10. Since there is a boon sheet that allows for a special lot size, I would expect that without the boon you would need to buy the +1 cartridges in lots of 50 as a standard size lot.

Berinor and Gauss,

As far as my hit points and the con damage and negative levels here is how that went down:

Going into the room I was at 83/113 hit points (I had taken some damage and did not get a chance to heal before going into the next room). As we went into the room the bad guy had cast cloudkill. I made the fort save and only took 1 point of con damage bring me to 71/101 hit points (I am using HeroLab, so I applied the ability adjustment). A round or two later I was hit with another spell (I don't remember what it was) and took 1 negative level which brought me down to 66/96 hit points. Then the next round I got hit with disentegrate, and the GM rolled 76 points of damage, which took me down to -10/96 hit points and caused the disentegration to occur.

The subject of our discussion at the table was pretty much what it is here. In interest of game time, and because the spell descriptons did not specifically say it would not work, we went with that ruling. I read over all of the reponses so far, I see that we were not the only ones to have a problem with how it might work.

I was recently playing in an game and the following occured. My PC is a 12th level sorcerer and we were facing another spell caster. The bad guy had cast several spells that had caused my PC to take 1 point of CON damage and 1 negative level, which caused my hit points to drop. Then the bad guy cast Disentegrate and my character failed the fortitude save so he took all of the damage. When the GM rolled his hand full of D6, it ended up taking me down to -10 Hit Points, and thus causing my PC to disentegrate. On the same round that this had happened the Cleric of the party moved over to my pile of dust and cast Breath of Life which brought my total hit points into the positive.

My question is, would the spell Breath of Life bring my character back to life. After we had read the spell discriptions of both spells we could not find anything that said it would not work. The GM was originally thinking that Breath of Life would require a body to work. After a discussion we decided to let the the spell bring my PC back to life, but he could not act the next round. What it the opinion on how we did the spells and the outcome?

Thanks for the information, it cleared up my question. Fortunately I have not yet played through the same Scenario that I have GM'ed. I guess I will be making that second character now, so that I can play the scenario.

I am somewhat new to Pathfinder Society, and have a question about the Replaying Scenarios. I have played a few scenarios and have GM 2 for the home group that I play with. I am not sure if I am understanding correctly how to apply the chornicle sheet. I have looked on the message board for an answer but was not able to find one that seemed to satisfy me as an answer.

Say I have a character XXXXX-1 (1st Level) and have played him in Masters of the Fallen Fortress (MotFF). I recieve a chronicle sheet for this character with the available items, XP, and gold awarded. Then I GM Season 0 - #5 Mist of Mwangi (MoM), I can apply the GM chronicle sheet, which is the XP, PA, and gold but no items awarded to this same character XXXXX-1. If someone else would GM Mist of Mwangi, I can play this character XXXXX-1 in this game and recieve a chronicle sheet with the XP, PA, gold, and awarded items. So this character XXXXX-1, has a chronicle sheet for MotFF with all of the awarded items, a sheet for MoM with only the XP, PA, and gold (my GM'ed game), and a sheet for MoM where I played the character that has all awarded items.

What I am not sure about is if I were to make up a character XXXXX-2 (1st Level). Can I play this character XXXXX-2 in Mist of Mwangi, and recieve a chronicle sheet that awards all of the XP, PA, gold, and items to this character?

I am sorry about this being a little long, but was not sure of an easier way to ask it where I would make sure I get the answer I am looking for.

Thanks for the help.
