hey all I have recently come into a group of players wanting to try out pathfinder, about 6 in all. So we discussed it all and they decided they want to play through an adventure path. instead of society, due to the fact that all 6 have never played a pen and paper game before. which leads me to my problem, and why i come to you guy's fellow pathfinders which of the adventure paths would in your opinion be best to run for brand new wet behind the ears players. your thoughts and suggestions r much appreciated
allright so I was reading over the APG, and I noticed, that lore master for the Archivist archetype, is only a free 20 on a single knowledge check, when the bard's normal Lore master ability is free 10's and a single 20, on knowledge checks. Is this the way it's supposed to be? if this is the way the archetype plays then it really hurts the class instead of giving it another balance. can someone help me with this? help me understand the archetype
allright so theres been some talk of rangers at my local gaming store. So naturally I decided to be evil :) and make a better range ranger, and looking through feats I saw all the goodies and figure I'll shoot multiple arrows at my enemies. Which naturally made me think of cleave. Now I know rapid shot and all that is meant for range multiple shot's but looking at the ruling of cleave I see nothing that says an arrow can't cleave into the next guy, as long as there adjacent and withing reach... and 100 ft range they should be. Cleave (Combat)
besides the describtion theres nothing that even remotely means melee... am i just being evil or is there something i'm missing? |
