Hey guys-
Hi folks,
None that I can really foresee IMO. This economy has stunk for the past 3 years (since prior to 4E's release) so I'm suprised 4E is doing as good as it is with the large unemployment rates and drastic savings people are doing. And I don't see it really getting that much better either. Anything else is pure speculation that WotC is failing or other non-sense meant only to douse WotC and D&D 4E with more hatefilled bile. Honestly, I'm sorta sick of the constant bickering and arguing about the subject. People leave companies ALL. THE. TIME. So why is there such as HUGE uproar about this? Because the community is rather small in numbers yet strong in communication so it spreads like wild-fire. And of course people's bias about specific editions comes into play and yet more useless edition-wars spread.
Hi guys,
Here's Habro's testbed product for where I expect 5th edition to be pushed in the next few years-
Well, Loren Greenwood has moved on and Greg Leeds is moving on up to the big office. I wouldn't expect that this will effect the plans for D&D just yet, but looking at Leeds' previous experience, who knows?
Turns out that the Vatican is doubling it's number of Deadly Sins (sins that will endanger your immortal soul) to fourteen. I hope this won't mess up Pathfinder :)
NYPD announced that Heath Ledger was found dead in his hotel room.
Just watched the trailer and remain convinced that Del Toro is one of the finest genre directors working right now.
I don't know if there are many on the boards who remember this RPG, but Corgi Books in the UK released Dragon Warriors in the mid 80's as a series of six paperbacks, back when GW sold 5 minatures for £2.50 and Robin of Sherwood was on the Telly and Flesh and Blood was on in the cinema- if you could sneak in. The system was an AD&D ultralite, but it was the dark, pseudo-European Folk Tales setting that made it a real gem: Diabolist Barons in crumbling keeps, spindly hobgoblins who roll puff balls across blasted heaths and Elves without souls who die at the touch of cold iron. It died a premature and undeserved death and has been out of print since (I only managed to track down my copy of book six a few years back), but my question is does anyone else remember this game and what were your experience of it? It'd be great if someone outhere reissued this series as an omnibus (not looking at anyone in particular, Erik).
Hi Guys,
Just got back from Walking with Dinosaurs- the Live experience.
This is a hue and cry for all Gamers/Fans of Fantasy!
Anyway, please visit the site and let your friends know- word of mouth is the independent comic artists best friend!
Probably the most influencial post-Tolkien Fantasy writer about.
He gave us Law and Chaos as active cosmic alleigences, or dare I say, alignments (say thank you, GW and TSR)
I don't think the Elric RPG has not been out of print since it first came out in the mid eighties, the latest of which is through Mongoose this year. In spite of all of this, Del Rey have still not reissued Moorcock's Opus: The Etenal Champion sequence. Why is this? And why aren't we as readers more pissed?
Okay, we all know d20 is the boss daddy of systems, but is it possible for Paizo to include stats for the returning other kid on the OGL block: Runequest?
Whaddya say? |
