None of the text in the "Armor as DR" section addresses how it affects Monks.

I'd imagine that their AC bonus adds to their "Defense" value, but since the list of things to add to your roll for Critical defense checks doesn't include the Monk AC bonus, this means that Monks are easier to score a critical on (assuming the Monk AC Bonus doesn't simply grant DR, which the rules up to that point don't support, and there's nothing to specify what type of DR it would be, since it would be less effective at high levels if just taken as non-magical armor...).

So, I guess I'm asking how the Monk AC bonus is supposed to interact with Armor as DR...

Judgment Surge (feat):
pg 145 (table) shows a prereq of ""judgment twice per day class feature" which is missing from the feat description on pg 153.

I like the ideas I've seen so far. I'm still kinda learning the system myself, so this might be a major project to try to bight off so soon, but I think Rise of the Runelords really does have a lot to offer, and the world in general, too, in other settings than D&D.

I think tying Relationships and Circles back to Sandpoint would make the most sense. I don't know if Beliefs, in general, need to be tied to Sandpoint, but certainly should be at first.

I also like the idea of "Magic as a lost art". Perhaps have it slowly coming back, a few isolated schools, that sort of thing.

I'll probably have to create lifepaths for things like Gnomes and Halflings, though perhaps I could treat one as Roden...

Thanks for the ideas so far. I'll keep everyone posted as best as I can. It may be slow going. We're doing 4e right now, and I try my best to socialize outside of Roleplaying, as well ;-)

Some of my players have recently developed an interest in playing Burning Wheel instead of D&D. I"ve had a subscription to the Pathfinder Adventure Paths for a bit, but haven't yet had a chance to run any of the modules. I was thinking of attempting to convert the adventures (at least 'Burnt Offerings' for now) into something a little more Burning Wheel, and I was wondering if anyone had tried anything like that yet? I've poked around a bit, but haven't yet found anything.

Thanks for your help, information, advice, whatever you're willing to provide (even if it's "Pathfinder won't work in Burning Wheel because it doesn't make sense that way...).

Just to add a little clarification...

Once more, with feeling:

The SRD wrote:
The rogue’s attack deals extra damage any time her target would be denied a Dexterity bonus to AC (whether the target actually has a Dexterity bonus or not), or when the rogue flanks her target.

No one (or at least, very few people) are trying to say that you can flank with a ranged weapon (though there is a Ranger spell (from one of the later books) that allows exactly this, but that's not what we're discussing). The claim is that there are more circumstances than flanking which trigger the ability to 'sneak attack'. Specifically, these are those times when your foe would be denied a Dexterity bonus to AC (whether the target actually has a Dexterity bonus or not). What does this mean?

Well... Adding the caveat that you must be within thirty (30) feet (later in the description of sneak attack), we have those lovely times when your friend, the thief, has found himself a nice hiding spot. Thiefy gets an 18 an his hide. Target fails to spot him (15! Oh, so close!). Thiefy is effectively invisible to that target. What are the benefits to being invisible? "Visually undetectable. An invisible creature gains a +2 bonus on attack rolls against sighted opponents, and ignores its opponents’ Dexterity bonuses to AC (if any)." (from the SRD). Hey, neat! Looks like thiefy gets his 'sneak attak'! In fact, it doesn't even matter if someone else sees the hidden assailant, his target still hasn't seen him, which is all that matters.

Being 'invisible' (including hiding) is the easiest of the "target denied dex" situations. Flat Footed target also qualifies. Flanking is just the easiest condition to bring about without significant other planning, luck, etc., which is why is the most often discussed...

The only problem I will really see is I know of at least three Gaming stores in different cities in Texas that after 4E drops they will not be carrying 3.x third party products because they did this when 3.5 dropped and lost big. So online will be my friend till at least August and maybe even later.

I live in an area few "Gaming Stores". I think I know of one... There was one that I had been to a few times, but they mysteriously vanished. The other one is a bit far from where I currently live, and I haven't been there in... quite some time.

This means that my "local gaming store" is either Borders or Barnes & Noble. They both have an abysmal selection (in fact, the Barnes & Nobel recently *reduced* shelf-space). I also know that Borders has issues with "version control" (when the PHB II came out, they stopped carrying the actually PHB because they thought it was a new edition). Add to this the fact that "third party" hardly even happens at the Big B Bookstores...

You say "online will be my friend"... Sometimes I feel like online is my only hope.

I plan on at least testing 4e when it comes out, and I would love to have Paizo products to help with that.

That being said, I'm not committed to anything yet, and will certainly be running 3.5e until 4e comes out. If 4e doesn't pan out with my players, I fully intend to return to 3.5.

I'm confused on this point as I received a confirmation of order for #6, but nothing for #5. Could you clear that up for me? (us?)

Also, will there only be one shipping charge with 5 & 6 shipping together?

Thank you muchly in advance.

Can anyone tell me if these are Dry-Erasable (or however you want to word it...)?

It would be great if you could fill in the notes section, then clear it off if that item is lost, used (in case of potions or scrolls), or you start a new campaign.

Thanks for the help/information.
