I definitely had my fill of maps. This is the only one I did that was worth showing. I think I did 4 other in-game maps. Top-down (of course) maps of town streets, and one of a sewer. They were also those freebie fold-out posters you get in the D&D mags.
Thanks a lot for the welcome, Zherog. :) You did the character portraits for the spies issue? I did 6 of them. My buddy Howard did another 6. Same issue & article. We had a color theme for each piece to make it more fun (notice one piece is predominantly orange, while another is yellow, violet, etc) It was fun sharing a job. So I hope the ones I did are included in your overall regard for them. ;) I know Howard's were "super." That boy can PAINT!
So that you know who I am; I'm an artist who has done illustrations for D&D since 98. I just found the new message boards. I've been so busy with my current full-time gig, that I've had to stop doing freelance illustration for Paizo (or anyone else for that matter) for over a year now. I'm so pumped to be back, I had to shout it here. I see the community looks promising. I'll be delivering a higher quality of art than I have in the past, and I hope you guys are pleased with the results. I'll look to you for feedback on these forums, if it works out that way (meaning if my posting is kosher here). I was pumped to see that one of the avatars was from one of the jobs I did for Paizo (the one I'm using). I hope I came to the right place to post this. Also, I hope to hear back from anyone on any particular job I've done (I've done many)- whether it's accurate, painted well enough, etc, so that I can be sure to increase my capacity for illustrating D&D with each illo.
