whats the most embarrasing thing youve done as a player or a dm?

can anyone point my attention to some good sources of information for the region of the aerdi, ahlissa, the malachite throne and rauxes? is that city under some sort of spell? are their any game mechanics that can be applied to it? what about maps for the city.

thanx for the help, guys. it is a shame duergar have not been detailed further, from what little i have seen they seem to be an extremely intriguing antagonist to use;- the descriptions of them as extremely industrious and hard working, yet with evil tendencies is an interesting mix. ive designed my own durzegon to use as well using the fiendish template (as is done for the mm2 entry?) and added other fiendish special attacks/ abilites so that not each is the child of bearded devils. the fact that they are also a naturally psionic race also opens the door for some interesting possibilities;- it looks like if i want to keep my cmpaign with a genuine greyhawk feel, though, i had better relocate the campaign to albor alz. i think i once read that flanaess dwarves had their genesis in the western mountain ranges. (hellfurnaces?)

i'm thinking of designing a series of adventures featuring Duergar, and i'm wondering if anyone knows where i can find some good info on them, particularly in regards to the lortmils in the flanaess, where my campaign is situated. are there any references to populations being present in this region? what about references to underoerth/underdark around the lortmils? the area around the pomarj- lortmils- suss forest must have an underdark, right? has it been doccumented?

i am tentatively trying my hand at writing a campaign featuring the mighty dragon orbs. i am hoping to come up with some original concepts and ideas, and steer clear of too much dragonlance cliche. the places i am hoping to run my campaign, i have little information on. if someone could direct me to some source information for the following cities, it would be greatly appreciated (was any stuff ever published in any of the 2nd edition stuff?);

gradsul
loftwick or any well detailed yeoman city/town. also, what sources exist regarding the orbs of dragonkind? i think i remember reading that they were likely constructed by imperial suel, with their fetish for binding, but at some other time weilded by the oeridians. is there any good sources for this kind of thing? feel free to reply with suggestions and experiences if you have ever tried this plot. thanks

hey, 15+1+umm..nah just 16? - it seems hard to find good, consistent information for many of the places and i feel that if i'm going to make my own cities and towns, why not just make my own world. it's a shame, i already have put a lot of time and effort into trying to get the information to give my players a unique experience in the greyhawwk world, and the more me and my players explore the world, the less detail we find. sure, you gotta detail certain aspects, and i enjoy that- to an extent. but when i have to make up details behind anonymously named cities with very few details,what's the point of playing in a published campaign world??? i can only tell you what i have learned;- the stuff that's already been posted, i got my hands on fate of istus and that atleast had more value than the 3E gazetteer. so i got to run what i hoped was a reasonably "canon" adventure in jurnre. now my P.C.s are heading for niole dra...****** if i know where i can get anything more then a city name, ruler and population for that one ;) does anyone know where i can get some info on Niole Dra? what does the city look like? what sort of architecture? (btw, can anybody give me a reference to suel architecture other then "alien"?). does any map of that city exist? what about gradsul? or can i assume that there has never been anything published on a good percent of the cities and just detail them myself...and then flick through dragon the next week and find that my city was canon incorrect?
