I was actually going to play the oracle as a support/dps class roleplaying a backup healer. he dislikes healing but sees the need for it at times but will only heal as a last resort. I was also looking at witch or something along those lines.

1, yea they should be
2, nah it was pretty solid, cleric, sorc,fighter,ranger
3, yes and no, went into a prev explored area that we had deemed safe but the gm introduced 2 rogues the proceeded to kill me before I was able to do anything.
4, no,that was the reason I was trying to delve back into sorc spells, wanted to try a new class while retaining the abilities soonish.

It is absolutely worth being a half elf oracle.

You can still use Paragon Surge to access 1-2 additional spells known of your choice as well as a range of other utility feats. You also get to mix some of the most powerful Oracle FCB's. You get access to both the human extra spells known as well as the elf increase to revelations.

What you cannot do is add spells to your spells known unless the effect also adds them to your spell list. So Paragon Surge for Improved Eldritch Heritage/New Arcana doesn't work anymore.

You can access a range of arcane spells either through the Ancient Lorekeeper or Spirit Guide archetypes although both are incompatible with Dual Cursed.

I was looking into spirit guide but I might just play it vanilla since I am still a new player. My oracle is going to be lvl 6 flame oracle with haunt curse. ( he's being haunted by his best friend and can see/interact with him. any ideas on feats and starting stats with a 15 point buy, was thinking 14 str 12 dex 12 con 10 int 7 wis 16 cha. but i was worried about the will save.

I am rerolling after my gnome sorcerer met a very gruesome end. going flame/haunted for with my half-elf oracle,what are the steps needed to cast sorcerer spells with paragon surge if someone could help me out.
