We will be playing a module and earning chronicles. I would like to start a new PFS character and apply these chronicles to him. The Roleplaying Guide describe how to do this for the PFS scenarios, but how do I fill out the sheets for a mod like Dragons Demand or any of the other sanctioned modules to apply them to a new 1st level character?
So, can we make this clear for somone who does not spend tons of time on these boards. I have 2 summoners levels 3 and 6. What changes do I need to make to these characters? Do I need to adjust my Evolutions, are the any of the old ones no longer choosable as I level up? Do I need to adjust my spell list to the one in the new book? How does this all effect my current characters....

Over the course of the different nights is has been 3-4 different players, not all on the same night. One night though, we did a form a table for Confirmation..it beat driving back home.
In answer to the orginal question "Can GMs for PFS turn players away just because they feel like it?" In my experience the answer is yes. We have a local game shop with games every Thursday night, and unless you are part of the GM's close circle of friends you can not be guarenteed a seat at a table. Signing up via warhorn does not matter. Preferance is given to roomates and friends before anyone else, even if they have not signed up for any table. This has happend 4 out of 5 game nights to several players and has caused some of us not to attend anymore. Since home games are by invitation only, that is not a problem in those situations.

Hello, A friend and I were both running witches in a game, and I would like to learn a spell from his familiar. Can I learn a patron spell from his familiar? The spell is not normally on the witch list, but he has it because of his patron, and the same for mine. Maybe I overlooked a rule for this somewhere? ERM

I was the witch in that group. What was sad, I spent the time going over the pouring over the Cypher's and finally comming up with a translation for them, only to be told all I had to do was find them, not actually solve the puzzle. Which seems odd. So I spent most of the mod head down, until I needed to roll a skill check. In that regard I did miss a lot of the mod...
I thought I would start a thread based on the new Vanity "Pathfinder Lodge" in the Pathfinder Society Primer. I have purchased it for one of my charactes, and thought a list of all the new lodges would be a good idea. I've paid the prestige, and earned the title VC through a set of mods as a boon(since i don't rememeber how to add a spoiler I will refrain from naming it). If this vanity will be handled in a differt way later I will renounce my claim, but by my reading of the additional resources, this seems ok. Please correct me if I am wrong. So: Venture Captian Zanger Marsh has started a new lodge in my homeland Osiron, in the city of Shiman-Sekh. I have built the lodge to study the "Song Pharaoh." As a bard I believe the pharaoh, could have been one as well and I am looking for proof to confirm this theory.

It might say the BLue Widget is availave for play be it does not tell me if it is a cleric/mage/druid spell or what level the spell is or any sort of description. I have most of those books and instead of flipping through each book,I was hoping for a single list somewhere.
A rather spindly Half Orc looks at the room’s occupants, puts down a tome he has had his nose buried in, and says: “Yes, this will be a fine exercise. This will allow me to study a fine magical artifact in our care, and provide me a chance to leave these dusty libraries I’ve been studying in and engage in my first field mission as a Pathfinder.” “Professor Khan at your service, Headmaster Zey. I have heard of other Pathfinders entering the Tapestry, could you tell us what we are likely to encounter inside and how we may return?”
Ok, Here is some basic info: Male Half Orc 10576-8 Alchemist(Crypt Breaker) 1 | AC 14 T 12 FF 12 | HP 10/10 | F +4 R +4 W +1 | Init +2 | Perc +7 “The Professor” Gurka Kahn The Rest:
I should have the rest of it up tonight as I have figured out the spoiler parts. I can't do it all at work...the boss may get mad Thanks Max
Hello, I'll get you a character sheet next. These are the level 1-5 mods I have left to play, minus repeatable mods: 3-11 QfP 2: On Hostile Waters 1-5
Alos, I did take out 1 or 2 that overlapped with mods posted by the other players. As my list is limited i'l will gladly bow out if we cannot make the table. Eddie
Hello John, I would like to try online/PBP gaming. In that vein I would like to try a 1-2nd level mod, not first steps...I know those by heart at this time. While I am in the centeral US, getting in a ew posts everyday would not be too hard for me. If this sounds ok, please let me know. Thanks, Eddie
Due to Min/Max-ing several players have made charaters with int/wis 7 so they could boost other scores, however the players themselves are some really smart folks. These are the players that solve the mods. They figure out the traps, the puzzles and the clues. If a character barley knows how to tie their shoes, how much of the mod should the player solve for the group? Or it shouldn't matter? Any Advice?
I've been playing since year 0 and do not have a 12th level character yet, it does take time. This could be something anyone can earn for all of the effort. (To be honest, via cons I have collected 3 racial certs.) This way players can recieve something for what they are going to do anyway..play the game. And they are not spending any extra money for travel, hotel, food, admission..etc. Otherwise why can't I say give me a 12th level character becasue I don't have the time to level up, or give me 30,000 gold because I don't have the time to go adventure and earn it? Look at school or work. You put in some effort, and you graduate, or you get a raise(or these days, you stay employed). It's just a suggestion, and it might be too late. I saw posts, saying something about this topic may be comming out around Gencon.
Here is my suggestion Everyone can have 1 character of whatever new races are allowed for Society play. That charater is gained by a special cert earned by having a character reaching 12th level and retiring. That would encourge people to play more mods anywhere to get the cert. This could be cons, game days, or game nights in you mom's basement. It would reward people who have spent many hours playing this game and open access to everyone willing to put in the time. The cert could be limited to 1 new race per player or 1 per 12th level character reaching retirement level. Whatever works best. My 2 Coppers.
Perhaps this has been asked, but i've not considered an Alchemist until now. I have a question before I start my build. Can I take the feat Extra Discovery, and use that discovery at 1st level? I was not sure since alchemists do not get discoveries until 2nd level. I just want to make sure one way or the other before I start planing out a character. Thanks

Hi I ordered a few PDF books in the past without problems, but now I have the first time the status pending. Could this be a website/shop issue or is there any other issue? There weren't any address or credit card changes after the last time I bought something in the Paizo shop, so that shouldn't have caused a halt... Cheers |
