yes we like item cards paizo. thank you for a great product.
now some feedback for what we like best (and least)

please, other customers chime in on this thread with your picks

I graded the cards based on how well I liked the art (visual appeal=va)and how eager I am to get them into use in my campaign (utility=UT) on a scale of 1 hate it to 5 love it.
Anything not on my list is a 3 of indiference.

From Item pack 1
Platemail (5)
standard all around heavy armor va 4 UT 5
Platemail (6)
handsome, interesting without being weird va 5 UT 4
wooden shield (9)
simple straight forward non-magical shield va 4 UT 4
Axe (10)
as above but with just a touch of glow that might signal this to be a magic item. va 4 UT 5

crossbow (13)
unique style but believable va 4 UT 4
longsword (21)
Classic look couldn't ask for more va 5 UT 5
mace (22)
good thing the description was there on the back, it made me look twice at a rather ordinary item. va 3 UT 4

ring (32)
simple elegance nicely presented va 4 UT 5
scroll (34)
"stains of ominous origin" ;-) va 5 UT 5
rod (37)
straight up rod of the viper the silver into gold color band seemed a bit like trying to hard. one color would have been fine
va 4 UT 5

Staff (39)
excellent wizards staff functional and attractive va 5 UT 5
Wand (42)
my favorite wand in the set va 5 UT 5
cloak (49)
"blue cloth silver moons and stars" nicely rendered classic va 5 UT 5

necklace (54)
one in every chest and it could be this one va 4 UT 5

Those are the positives here are my negatives

chain mail 2 and 3 both show hands but are headless
(creepy) no body parts please. #3 va 2 UT 2
#2 va 1 UT 1 (shabby)
gloves (52)
they look warm but not special va 3 UT 2
what I really want are some gloves of arrow snagging or gloves of
dexterity

gemstone (51)
we get one gemstone in the set and it looks like a rock
who wouldnt rather get a nice ruby or emerald? va 2 UT 2

boots (47)
kinda heavy looking for boots with wings seems like they couldn't decide if they were sturdy fighter boots or flighty boots of elvenkind I give these schizofrenic boots va 2 UT 2

headband (53)
of all the items we could have gotten I would never have asked for this. va 2 UT 1

ok so the set as a whole I like and look forward to more. and no one is going to like all of anything that comes out, but I wanted to share my input for general reference to the crew working on this product. My regards to Vince and the person who hired him. he has incredible talent and I hope you keep him around for more fantastic artwork.

I was all set to order one of these till I found where you said that it is only 4x6. Thats just too small for a campaign book.
I have been using composition books for years now, and I guess I will just keep on with that. I cant see fitting my ideas on pages half the size of what I am use to. Too bad cause this looks like it would have been really cool.

While I like your sugestion, "4 or so double-sided maps, with each side being able to be connected in 2 separate settings"
I will tell you and anyone else with this concern what I am doing.

I have taken the cards that go together and glued them onto cardboard to prevent them sliding around. perhaps this isn't what I will do when my countryside cards arive, but it has worked out fine for the village map pack.

I also use the D&D fantastic location maps and have had mine laminated for durability. But they are unique locations and I would really like some maps of the same size with generic caves and forest areas that could stand in for almost any setting.

I would love to see a gamemastery set with the 8x5 cards that featured artwork of typical fantasy buildings on one side and had space on the back for filling in npc data and goods or services available/cost. This could be filled in by the DM or some could come from the SRD.
DM "you approach the blacksmiths shop which is between the wainwright and the stables"
Player "what does it look like?"
DM "Like this" (holding up gamemastery card with picture of a Blacksmiths shop) on the back of which is the name and stats of the blacksmith and his apprentice. and a range of prices for typical services. at the botomn is a note about the rumors he has to share with the party.
I really like the gamemastery products I have purchased so far and am anxiously awaiting the ones I have on order, but there is always room for more good stuff to use in my games of D&D.
keep up the good work.

Is Living Greyhawk no longer a part of Dungeon?
I see Greyhawk is still very much a part of the Dungeon adventures, but the absence of new or reprinted Journals leads me to believe that the "Living" is now reserved for RPGA.

sorry if this has been covered before. I was wanting to get the reprinted journals and noticed that they are "unavailable"
