Yeah i did take that trait so armor would have to be medium or heavy good point Umbranus. My character is also a human i believe someone in the comments above asked.

Sindalla, I really like the Armored Kilt i totally skipped over for years.

I am getting ready to play a 1st level campaign and have a fighter with an 18 Dex and was wondering what would be the best choice to go with starting out. I'm thinking Breastplate or Hide Armor starting out. I'd be interested in any suggestion for 3.0/3.5 equipment as well.

You are correct about the feat. I totally skipped that part for some reason. May just scrap the idea and go pure damage dealer with a greatsword.

Well i'm not trying to be a straight "finesse" fighter. I am looking at being able to hit hard and not getting hit as much as a normally two handed fighter. I am utilizing the deadly defense feat on the Elven Curve blade so i can do D10 + D6 + 1.5 MGT Bonus + Power Attack when i hit. And to get the bonus D6 damage i use combat Expertise which will boost my AC and i will suffer a -1 to hit with the threatening defender trait.

Its a Human, sorry for omitting that in the original post.

Deadly Defense lets me add a d6 to weapon damage when i use combat expertise or fight def. This can be done for light weapons or weapons that are capable of weapon finesse.

The Elven curve blade is a two handed weapon that is able to utilize weapon finesse.

Hello all,

I am getting ready to play in a new Pathfinder campaign and we will be starting at level 1. I have this idea for a defensive fighter who can still hit hard. I was thinking about using a Elven Curve Blade in conjunction with the deadly defense feat for the base of my build. My DM is allowing 3.5 material for character creations. I am looking at feats like power attack, wep. focus and spec, melee wep mastery, slashing furry, weapon supremacy, shield focus (buckler),imp. buckler defense and looking would like some recommendations on other feats.

Traits: Defender of Society, Threatening Defender, Heirloom and Eyes and Ears of the city.

I plan on taking the Additional Talent trait for this.

My stats are the following.

Str. 20
Dex. 15
Con. 15
Int. 13
Wis. 12
Chr. 10
