As the Olympics has now come to an end we can spend more time designing adventures. To help DM's catch up Dingle's Games is offering free full access for the next week for the Pathfinder RPG NPC Generator and the D&D 3.5 NPC Generator . You will be able to create NPC's of any race up to 20th level with up to 3 classes, adjust skills, attributes, and feats, add magic items and spells and set pre-buffed spells. This should save many hours creating NPC's and Monsters for your campaigns.

I am currently adding in default feats to my Pathfinder RPG NPC Generator. I've done default feats for a number of variations for all the main and NPC classes, but I really don't know much about the Psion and Psionic Warrior. What I need is a good set of default feats for each discipline and Warrior Path going up to 20th level.

I've never played with psionics so any help is appreciated

I've just released a Pathfinder NPC Generator.

You can have a play around with it on:
http://www.dinglesgames.com/tools/NPCGenerator/pathfinder/

It's not quite completed but all the basic classes, skills and feats are there. I'm still in the process of updating all the monsters from 3.5 to pathfinder (and adding in the new ones).
NB: Once you have added in any extra feats and magic items press the "Recalculate" button to update the stats.

Please let me know what you think of it..., and if you find any errors, it's still in the beta test at present.

I have a friend who makes figures and is hoping to make a living manufacturing them.
My personal experience in D&D is that I use the nearest figure that fits the template (The cow figure has been used a lot).

I just wondered how many people buy figures and paint them for a specific adventure/campaign, and how many just use what they have got and improvise, also how many just use templates.

I've recently tried out 4.0 D&D whilst I liked the combat system I never created a bond with the PC I played he just seemed a bit plastic.

I've always enjoyed D&D 3.5 but the work for DM to create an adventure could take many hours (I know).
Recently both me and the Overlord have created new sites focused on D&D 3.5
Dingle
Dinglesgames
and
The Overlord
Monsteradvancer

Both our sites are trying to make the job of a D&D 3.5 DM easier and were released within a couple of months of each other (completely independently).
Was this just chance or did we both see the same opening in the market i.e. the gap between 4.0 and 3.5. Easy to DM 4.0 vs Enjoyable to play 3.5.

I am hoping that 3.5 will last for many years to come (and am in fact investing time, effort and money into this creating a 3.5 web site).

I would love to see the D&D 3.5 books re-released my personal thoughts are 4.0 and 3.5 are completely different games one an RPG the other a tactical tabletop wargame. Both enjoyable but very different.

The problem is that without new D&D 3.5 books being published the 3.5 game will eventualy die out. The New gamers will purchase 4.0 as it's the only one available.

My question to you all is "Will D&D 3.5 survive and if so for how long ???"

I've recently created a monster/NPC generator for D&D 3.5, it allows adding HD for monsters and adding character levels, skills and stats are automatically calculated depending on a skill focus selected. The monsters can then be fine tuned (changing stats, adding feats, changing armour and weapons). This tool is free to use I would very much welcome any feed back Good or Bad. This is an ongoing project so any feedback to make it better/easier to use would be very useful.
You can have a play at

I hope you find the tool useful.
P.S. There is also a treasure generator on the site (also free).
