thanks for the quick replies...guess reading the feat might of helped
-.-

title!

it came up yesterday. attack of opp just says you get an attack at your highest bonus.

but reading power attack it says when you attack, declare your using it and bam, have fun.

group ruled against it but just thought to get a second opinion.

thanks

Thing i realized when i hit lvl 9 with my Summoner is the Eidolon is meaningless.

Basically, the Summon Eidolon spell with the SLA is better than an Eidolon Alone.

At that level you start geting the really useful Summons and If i did it again I Would Design with the Assumpion im using the lvl 2 spell Rather than the normal Eidolon ability.

By this level the Eidolon is nice but isnt needed in my view. Which isnt to say its bad just your ability to Summon at this point is pretty Solid and spending 1 round to have your eidolon come in with +4 str +4 con is nice.

Back it up with the.. Balna? Brailna.. arg stats with a B the winged woaman who casts lighting bolts mirror image and blurr and curse serious wonds.

or a large air elemental.

looking at the summon 1-# ability that the summoner gets, you can only have one thing summoned at a time. soo does the ability of the summoner having his eidolon out and a summoned creature differ? as in, if you just summon the eidolon for a min and have him by your side, then in combat summon a monster work? it doesnt look like it. or did you mean something else?

wow, you guys are fast. thanks for the in depth reasoning as i am rather new to pathfnider.

also, thanks for pointing out the facts with augment summoning. might think again about that feat.

i tried to look around for this, and there was a post about it but i couldnt tell if it applied to this situation

im a summoner and im working on my Eidolon. at lvl 9 he gets +3 str, i also want to make him large +8 str. i also took augment summoning for an andditional +4. i would love to take summoners call for +2 str. for a total of +17 str.

anywhere i could look to see if this is viable?
