Hi,

I think TWF gets a bad wrap on the Boards. I find it to be a VERY effective and awesome style.

Some people have seen my TWF guide for Rangers and Now I present the Fighter Guide.

Bladestorm: STR Ranger's guide to TWF for Fighters

It's a work that may need updating so if you think I've missed anything, let me know.

** spoiler omitted **...

im curious, ive read the guide, i was wondering how you think a Suli would work with the two weapon warrior build

im looking to build a level 13 human magus weilding a small greataxe, any advice? i have no experience with Magus

i think ive got the problem figured out, when i build a good character, it basically becomes a god, i have survived things that i shouldnt have with my unbreakable fighter

belt of physical perfection would be a good thing to tack on, and obviouisly a cloak of resistance

i would like to thank you all for your advice, i spoke with him and so far he claims that it's just unintentional discrimination, and his reasoning for the custom race and the vanguard issues is that a) my custom race would just be too difficult to explain to the party, and b) he doesnt know quite how a vanguard will fit into his world and the party in general

it seems to me the only way killing the lich would cause the pally to fall would be if for some reason the lich was not evil, since destroying evil is one of the big things for a lawful good pally, killing the lich to protect the innocent would be the pally's first thought, and if the risk is great enough to make the pally ignore the laws of the area, then i would think it to be well justified, or he could just hire someone else to kill it

ive dealt with worse gms than this, my last gm used the "dm is god" rule to kill my character for proving him wrong with info straight from the wizards of the coast website when i was still playing 3.5, and dont get me wrong, i have a blast, i just want equal treatment

1) my DM is allowing everyone else in the party to use custom built races except me.

2) he is also allowing everyone else to use 3rd party classes.

3) My DM is pretty much being a prick to me for not being there every week when he KNEW before i joined that i could only be there every other week

to elaborate- about 3 weeks ago my half elf fighter died, i wanted to build a new character using the race building guide as my friend who for purpose of this discussion i will call johnny, who was allowed a 20 point build and ended up building a pretty awesome dragon type character.

he allowed 3 of the other party members to use archetypes from 3rd party publishers such as the cavalier archetype inspiring commander from rite publishing, or the paladin archetype dragon knight, but when i wished to use a vanguard, he flat out refused on the grounds that 3rd party classes are too hard to balance out.

and he is known to put my characters under mind controlling effects that i know have will saves, without giving me a chance to roll my save, he literally just says "congratulations, you're being mind controlled" and ends up killing my most epic character since my duskblade/dragon disciple from back in d&d 3.5.

if anyone can offer some suggestions on how to straighten this out without straight out quitting i would appreciate it
