Dear Paizo staff, I've really enjoyed the material you've produced over the years, but I decided several months back that since Pathfinder was not supporting 4E, I would cancel my subscription following the CotCC AP. Now I find out that Paizo plans to ship the last CotCC installment along with the first adventure of the next AP. How do I go about cancelling my subscription so that I still receive the last adventure but not the first installment of the next AP? Thanks!
Does anyone have a scanned image of the James Zhang (half?) elven sorcerer on p. 78 of Dragon 357 (July 2007)? I've been spoiled by Paizo's Pathfinder iconic artwork as inspiration for and use on character sheets, and I would love to add this image for a character concept. Alas, I do not have a scanner, so I can't scan it myself. I hope this request does not violate any messageboard rules, and I don't believe it does since (a) Paizo often provides such images in its free online support for products (like the monthly Dungeon downloads) and (b) this is for purely personal use; no profit, or anything of the sort intended. Thanks very, very much if you can help out! --Darkbard p.s. It's the full image of my avatar's headshot.
At the risk of poor social graces, I nonetheless ask if there are any good comics forums (particularly Marvel-oriented; I know: boo, hiss) with dedicated, sophisticated posters like those found here at Paizo's forums? There just doesn't seem to be much activity here (understandable, of course, as it's a gaming company site, not a comics publisher site). Though I'm primarily a lurker, I'm an active lurker, in the sense that I enjoy frequent speculation and updates. Thanks, and sorry if I've offended any sensibilities!
Strange predicament: my wife's group recently disbanded just short of the climax of 3 Faces of Evil. Since I, too, wanted to run the AP, we've decided to continue the adventure just the 2 of us, with my wife playing her character from the abruptly ended campaign plus 3 made-over characters from campaigns past. We made them over at 5th level with 36 point buy, incorporating as many of the current rules set to reflect the characters' abilities and personae as possible. The result is a fascinating mix of unusual characters, but I wonder if they have the firepower to progress far in this killer campaign. What are your impressions (keeping in mind the unusual limitation of one player playing all 4 characters)? They are:
I ran the characters through the encounter with the Ebon Aspect and they survived, though just (I started the encounter with 20% of hp and resources (spells, etc.) depleted to reenact the point at which the old campaign ended). They are about to see to a proper denoument for Dourstone and Smenk before accompanying a friendly Allustan to Blackstone. |
