Just to confirm what Steve said, "We currently do not have any announced plans.." is how customer service will answer most inquires about things that do not exist and/or haven't been announced. Its a phrase that lets us cover all our bases as we frequently do not know what the development or management team have in the works and we don't always know when/if something is being reprinted.

Technically not an answer, but I emailed Paizo and got this reply. I'm not sure how much to read into the wording though.

"We currently do not have any announced plans to reprint the Beginner Box."

Currently and announced are both very particular words.

As Steve mentions, it's still a pretty good value and BB should be "right sized" for my son once we finish all of the Adventures in Hero Kids.

Guess I will suck it up and order. Better to get burned on a reprint than miss out, I guess.

I've heard from my FLGS that the Beginner Box is in between printings. Assuming this is true, I'm wondering if I should wait until the new printing comes out to buy it. Also, has there been any public announcement of when this new printing will be available?

Mostly just a "me too" post. I am tempted to just order, but don't want to fearing that the new version will ship the day after I open mine.

I realize the Paizo folks won't come on here and tell us, but has anyone heard any reasonable rumors - like, from employees of your FLGS - about a date? Really just looking for an order of magnitude: days, weeks, months?
