I've said this with a few of the base classes already, but after looking at the nuts and bolts of the matter, I think that the Arrow of Death apex abilities of the Arcane Archer could use some DC scaling as well, in order to make itfunction better, especially at epic levels. Therefore, I have a suggestion for a change to that ability below:

"At 10th level, an arcane archer can create an arrow of death that will immediately slay any target damaged by the arrow's attack, unless it makes a Fortitude save with DC equal to 15 + 1/2 the arcane archer's class level + the arcane archer's Intelligence modifier."


As I said with my post regarding the Ranger and his Master Hunter apex ability, I've been looking at the nuts and bolts of the base classes and found that the DC of the Rogue's apex ability, Master Strike, doesn't scale up when she becomes epic, unlike the apex abilities of several other classes. Therefore, may I suggest one minor change to the Master Strike ability description, that would keep the status quo at level 20, but then would scale up as appropriate:

"Regardless of the effect chosen, the target receives a Fortitude
save to resist with a DC equal to 10 + 1/2 the rogue's level + the rogue’s Intelligence modifier."


I'm a little late to the game here, but I've been looking through a lot of the nuts and bolts of the base classes presented in the Beta, and in particular some of their apex abilities. And I noticed that the DC on the Ranger's Master Hunter ability doesn't scale up. And this is while the DCs on some of the other classes do. So, to preserve the current DC at level 20, and to allow it to scale up when epic, I suggest this minor change:

"The DC of this save is equal to 10 + 1/2 the ranger's level + the ranger’s Wisdom modifier."
