roll init please. You see something Wyran and Samara. This creature looks like an animated, yet dead, moss-covered tree. Its bark is darkened with age and no leaves appear on its branches. It is gargantuan!

It DID say "others with approval", and players can play some "monster races", but it's fine. I'll take something else. It was just a way to try and make him a good damage dealer. =)

The only "monster" race I allow is goblin and that is largely for comic relief. Even if I allowed it which I am not you would be looking at appropriate orc and NOT bugbear feats. I have a listing of my approved sources in Campaign info. I know most gamers ignore it, but I have to get a limit somewhere. I looked at the Orc feats and most were really not appropriate for a half-orc player character.

Male Human Rogue6/Clr1

I added 101 Pirate and Privateer Traits because I was running Razor Coast and Skull&Shackles two pirate based games. I bought it to use in the two campaigns. In fact, I am still running Skull&Shackles. Since I allowed it for those games, I allow it for the rest of my games also. I have the Monster Codex. Everything in it is specifically for monsters from Boggards to Vampires. This is why while I like d20pfrpg.net as a resource, to rely on it alone for a source is a problem. You miss the context that the feats, etc are designed for. My rule since I started Pathfinder is that I won't allow something if I don't own it. I do, however have an extensive library mostly in hard cover but also in pdf. Please read the source and it will be less arbitrary. And FYI, there are pirates in the RA area and you may encounter them!

NAVIGAT1NG TH1S BOOK
Each of this book's 20 chapters details a specific monster
race. At the end ofthe introductory material for each chapter,
you'll find a reference indicating in which Bestiary volume
you can find the base statistics for that particular monster.

BUGBEAR FEATS
The following feats are common among bugbears.
....
Hurtful (Combat)
You know how to add injury to insult.

Prerequisites: Str 13, Power Attack.
Benefit: When you successfully demoralize an opponent
within your melee reach with an Intimidate check, you can
make a single melee attack against that creature as a swift
action. If your attack fails to damage the target, its shaken
condition from being demoralized immediately ends.

If there was something in there for players I would be more inclined to allow it, but none of it is.

One skeleton attacks Terodius with one sword
short sword: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14 damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5 plus STR damage: 1d3 ⇒ 1
and Jim with the other
short sword: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28 damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4 plus STR damage: 1d3 ⇒ 3

The other skeleton attacks Daniel with both swords
short sword: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14 damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5 plus STR damage: 1d3 ⇒ 3
short sword: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12 damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2 plus STR damage: 1d3 ⇒ 3

DM/NPC Garrett as he is out of town. I will have him attempt to tumble to the other side of the skeleton
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (20) + 16 = 36

And attack with his spiked guantlet
guantlet: 1d20 + 6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 6 + 1 + 2 = 29 damage: 1d3 + 1 + 4d6 - 10 ⇒ (3) + 1 + (4, 1, 2, 5) - 10 = 6

Free action - drop longsword
swift action - activate bane ability (undead) on cestus
standard action - full attack with haste on pink

[dice=Attack A]1d20+6+5-1+2+2+1
+6 bab +5 str -1 str damage +2 heroism +2 bane +1 haste

[dice=damage A, Extra Attack from Haste]1d4+5-1+2+2+2d6

The cestus overcomes the blunt part but bane is neither holy nor good so the DR remains. You hit twice for 12 hp. The haste attack misses.

I have requested Zenneck replace the feat also. I was suspucious of the source upon first seing it, but was busy with so many others that I did not look further into it. When I opened the Codex, I noticed it is a Bubear feat.

Male Human Rogue6/Clr1

Zenneck, you need to replace the feat hurtful. It is from an unallowed source. My allowed sources are in the Campaign info. I have been rather liberal of other sources, but the Monster Codex is NOT allowed for player characters. It is for DMs. And the feat in question is a Bugbear feat. Last I saw you are NOT a Bugbear. I further examined the feat looking into another player in another game. Please chose another feat.

Ok, I have Jim next to me. I have solo tactics and the Lastwall Phalanx feat, which would push my AC to 29 (assuming these undead are evil), so the crit wouldn't confirm. But are these skeletons considered to be followers of Set? If so, that would be another +1 to AC and the attack would miss entirely. And I need to know this to caculate my attack...

1)Hitting a held opponent to knock him out is ok, assasinating him is another. FYI, Josef Mengele died of a stroke. My family left Russia to escape the pogrom. I have no love for nazis, but they are best tried, convicted and hung or imprisioned for life.

2)You might be able to justify knocking him out hitting him up but following it up with hurtful goes beyond the pail and does damage that guarantees that you will kill him

3)I have a problem playing a slayer in the first place, IMHO they are evil and I will not allow evil characters or abilities.

4)You may not be a Paladin, but you are Lawful Good and especially with four Lions of Mitra to not give quarter to a held opponent is murder in their eyes and they WILL withhold their aid and your connection to Mitra

5) The crux of this discussion is the feat hurtful. It is from an unallowed source. My allowed sources are in the Campaign info. I was attacking the sahuagin, of course, so I don't understand why the CMD of the shark matters (again, I may be missing something here, so apologies if it's the case).

I did a google search I did quite a bit of research on this and entered our scenario, Here is its recommendation:

Dobra has no swim speed, so he can't "5-foot step" - so he will move, enter shark style as a swift, rage as a free, and attack as a standard. Attack has grab, so he will try to grapple as well if the bite succeeds.

You do need to be to make a swim check to move a a quarter of your speed, DC 10
