Thanks James!

We've just had the GotGW so far, and the comparison of what I could do online in the store is limited since there was no page count. I feel a lot better knowing it'll be ~260 pages on average.

I'm looking at running some PF one shots in a new local club in quarterly events that are being run, but it'd been hard to recommend PF if the books were going to be on the thin side for that $80 price point.

Now I'm even more hyped for the Bation AP now, sounds fun and I love the art in the entire showcase. Thanks for the clarification! Hope you and yours and everyone there has a great holiday season.

Hiya!

Just watched the youtube upload for this month's Paizo direct, and I'm excited for the Bastions AP coming out. However, I'm VERY concerned on the direction of the AP product. The HC choice I'm good with, maybe. But if Guilt of the Graveward is anything to go by via page count, we're getting less than half the content we were getting in 3 AP issues/volumes. It's around 120 pages, so maybe 30 pages more than a single AP issue. But it cost $45. That's a LOT more for what is being billed as a 'quarterly model with same amount of content'. 30 more pages and HC treatment for roughly $20 more. I mean what's the difference now between an AP HC and the stand alone adventures that were HC as well? Why use the Adventure Path branding at all now?

But I digress on that volume as it was the first one, first big adventure for SF2E so whatever. But I checked out the store entry for the new Hellbreakers PF AP that is slated for March. Maybe I missed it but there was only the thickness dimension and not a rough page count. It's a whopping 1/10 of an inch thicker than GotGW, but it's priced at $80? Maybe the dimensions are off, but that definitely is NOT going to be twice GotGW content, let alone enough to cover what used to be 3 AP volumes for 'quarterly content'.

I completely understand costs to produce and get to market are......problematic in the current climate. I get that money can be tight, but it's tight on everyone's end. While $80 is about what three volumes cost of the prior APs, it seems we're just not getting the content that we used to. And while HC are nice, I want APs to play with my friends, and that means content. I don't know how others feel, but I'd rather have content over the hardcover upgrade.

But maybe I'm wrong. I'm looking forward to the new AP, but I'm also very apprehensive about it as well because I know if it's not much more than what GotGW was, but for almost twice the price I'm not going to be overly happy.

Can you provide any insights beyond just the barebones info that's on that AP's store page, or just the approach period of the new AP direction that can alleviate some of my concerns?

Thanks!

Hello!

I signed up for 5 subscriptions this morning. I checked the subscription manager and it said the next fulfillment date will be 12/19/2025.

One of the subscriptions I signed up for was Pathfinder Lost Omens Subscription. Will the new Draconic Codex be sent out on 12/19/2025 or will it wait until Hellfire Dispatches releases? I'm trying to figure out if I need to order the Draconic Codex separately.

Thanks!

From my understanding why process subscriptions once a month, so if you signed up after the cutoff time for processing that month, your first subscription shipment will be the following month as it said in your message. When you signed up for the subscription, it used to and not sure if it still does with the new site, show you the current and possibly the previous item that you can select as your starting subscription item for that subscription. So if that's the case still, and you selected the Dragon Codex, it should be sent to you next month along with anything else that comes out in your other subscriptions as well as the Society module/s that you get for free based on the number of subs you have.

At least that's how it worked when I signed up a couple of years ago.

Hey Guys,
Overall I think it's an improvement but I have a few notes in regards to the library.
1. Too much space is wasted in the top blue bar. This compounds with a few other issues that follow.
2. The fact as you expand items, it increases the length of the product window pushing the pagination links and other items lower on the list below the footer causing the need to scroll down to click for the next page. A narrower blue bar from #1 would help this a bit.
3. In the library, once you click on a subitem like Rulebooks, why is there another category called Digital Editions requiring another click. Is there another type of edition that I could view in my catalog because there's no print edition option. Not only does this add a click for every single category I want to delve into, it's also yet another line item in the vertical space which you already have at a premium with #1 and #2 above.
4. I'd highly suggest making the Group By Name/Group By Category as either a dropdown list or radio buttons. Then I would make the Pathfinder/Starfinder/Accessories/other main categories as tabs at the top of the library portion of the page like you do on your main home page. This again would save some of the space wasted on these items in the vertical space you're short on.
5. I understand why the single download and the download per chapter existed in the old store, but that should no longer be needed. With the new modal popups, there's no reason all entries can't be added into one modal and thus can eliminate the need to have two entries for every book you provide the separate chapter downloads for. This would help with the vertical space, but also showing the number of items per page showing actual different books.
6. I was hoping this might change with the refresh, but I guess not. I understand the need for item codes to be an ID in your database and for inventory and finance reasons, but there's absolutely zero reason why the downloads should not have the title of the book/adventure in the name. Why are my downloads titled PZ01051555? It makes it so that I have to rename them once I download them. Remove that hassle from your customers please and just give the download file names something customer friendly.
7. Searching works great, except why can't it just return a list of the items? I understand when I'm searching through my categories, but if I'm looking for Shining Kingdoms and search by 'shining' why am I getting results where I have to click into the categories still? Just give me a straight list of links without having to navigate into each subcategory.
8. The Sort options are.....questionable? Why can't I sort by just category like Pathfinder Rulebooks? With the way it orders them default by dates, it means my rulebooks are scattered across pages. Maybe have a few sort options that have subcategories? Sorty by System/Type/Alphabetical, etc, but still have the sort by publish date, last downloaded, as options as well. I'm sure there are people that the recent will work great for if they download everything every month, but for those looking to grab all their beastiaries and related books, they're going to be going through pages upon pages trying to find them if they can't remember the exact title.

I think that is all I'll put. Others have stated similar, and put in other requests like being able to increase result count to the results in the library.

Again, this is an improvement, and the website overall looks sharp. I will add one request that hopefully was fixed with this new site and that's that your catalog keeps track of inventory better. In the past I've tried to order APs that would show added to cart, but wouldn't actually be in there.

A lot of the issues above could have been spotted by a UX designer. I don't know who developed the app, but if they didn't do UX reviews on this it might be good to get an outside UX review for other suggestions. I'm hoping this is just a few iterations beyond your minimum viable product so you're still iterating with the developers on it. It really is an improvement over the old site, but there are still things that need to be looked at and improved upon.
