Spells: ??? this is where I need help... All summon monsters 1-9 but what else?

So my entire idea is a tinerbellish toon that specializes in minions!

Hey how do i minimize the -4 to my rangers level for calculating my Animal companions strength??? Are there any feats i can take ???

Soooo I want to make a tinkerbell like toon using the race builder from ARG :)) What traits should i take? what stats? standard or advanced? I need to keep it in like with the party... and we have a dwarf, a suli, and a human! :) Thanks!

So in a game my friends and I are running i'm playing a sorc! I have one question and one only. The party walks up to a door and i say "wait guys i wanna load my gun" meaning load a spell to fire (he shoots his spells out of his fingertips like a gun) and currently his spell of choice has been sleep. So i begin casting it... the question is can i hold this spell until i choose to fire it. (we decided that i could last night to keep the game rolling... of course i couldn't cast any other spells and had to make appropriate concentration checks but is this legal???) IS THERE A RULE FOR THIS??? Thanks :)

if your using a word-caster then do they refer to their class list or their word list????????? i.e a sorc word-caster using a wand of magic missile or would he have to use a wand of force bolt ??
