For $12 I would expect art. That's extra cost and time.

What, did you miss the flyer on the "RPG Megaartist Contest?" ;)

Still, I wouldn't mind seeing a double-sized (or perhaps larger) "Player's Pack" of cards that would handle all the basics for each player.

Perhaps by the main classes: Wizard Deck, Fighter...

For the mundane gear, how about more of the 'kit' cards?

We have a lockpicking kit, disguise kit, and a healing kit.

How about:

Outdoor survival kit
Climbing kit
Camping kit
Cooking kit
Court clothing
Scribe kit
An undead fighting kit.

or whatever. The variations on an individual kit are endless - but there's a certain base level that could be part of the description.

IOW: I'm not generally going to individually track tinder, flint & steel, a waterproof tinderbox _and_ the torches. A general 'Dungoneering Kit' plus a pile of torches would imply the flint though. So make the 'non-consumables' part of kits.

As a separate issue, it might be worthwhile to make full decks oriented towards the four "main" character types. Or orient individual decks on a theme - dungeoneering, spelunking, underwater, city adventuring, whatever.

Scrollcaster

Physical:
A one inch by one foot burnished steel tube capped by knobby ironwood plugs. The plugs mesh with the threading on the interior of the tube compressing an oiled-cord O-ring - an excellent watertight seal. The plugs are non-magical impromptu repairs.

Abilities:
Each end opens into a separate fifteen cubic foot extra-dimensional space. One end is restricted to written materials, the other — writing materials. Any named item can be removed on command, cf. Handy Haversack.

The tube exterior has a self-maintaining written inventory, separated by category: "Maps, Wizard Scrolls, Information...." Upon command, the named material is legibly displayed as desired. A scroll thus presented can be read for casting — consuming the scroll. Mundane types of paper, ink, and writing implements may be fabricated at up to one cubic foot per day. One high quality blank traveling spellbook with attached waterproofing wrap and suitable ink may be fabricated each day.

Gamemaster Note:
Unique scrolls disappear sometime after insertion, but a copy eventually re-appears, sometimes with a bonus scroll. A discovered case might be trapped, but all contain construction instructions.

Moderate Conjuration/Transmutation; CL10, Craft Wondrous Item, Secret Chest, Fabricate, Silent Image, Craft (Bookmaking), Craft (Inkmaking). Price 8,875 gp; Weight 1 lb.

If there are truly this many decent items... combine this with an Art Call and make the top 54 into Item Cards.

Something tells me you'd have a bare minimum 108 packs sold if both the artist and designer's name went on each of the 54 cards. I have no idea where the break-even would be, nor on how much time the judging requires. But I keep finding this idea interesting.

I don't see a "Druaga", but here's another block of Mesopotamian Gods.

That site has some myths connecting the various gods, but seems like it could use more input.
