This is my first post, so be kind. I have done the Search function and looked through the FAQ and have not found an answer. If I've overlooked it, I completely apologize. My group is playing through Wrath of the Righteous and I'm a 14 Ranger/Mythic 6. We're in the Abyss at the moment, and this is where things get fuzzy. My Ranger has Evil Outsiders as a favored enemy. My argument is that the term Outsiders is based on the ranger's starting plane, so even if I go to the Abyss, the natural denizens there are still Outsiders to me. (I DO get the Favored Enemies bonus) My GM's argument is that since the Abyss is the starting plane of the assorted demons, they are NOT considered Outsiders. (I do NOT get the Favored Enemies bonus). We've both scoured books and resources for an answer, and have been playing by his ruling for now. Is there some ruling somewhere we've missed, or can we get an official clarification on this? Thank you for your time.
