Hello All,
I think that if they really decide not to compete in the last fight, I will have the third place team compete and have things move forward as they would have anyway. Any help would be great. Beldar
Help! I have a question. If the PC's look through the dome that leads to the Ulugastra, can they see anything below? I have read the description multiple times and really can't find an answer. I was thinking that they would not be able to see what was below the dome. Maybe just a sickly green glow. How have others handled this? Am I just missing something? Beldar
Help! I have a player who is insisting on going to the Great Library and doing his own research. The party has already meet Eligos and asked for his help. Once they found out he was going to the Library to do research, the player decieded he should go to. My question is, based on the first three adventures, what information would you allow him to gain? I hope this makes sense. One of my shortcomings as a DM is knowing how much information to give to the players at any given time. Any help would be great. Please let me know if more information is needed. Thanks,
Tomovasky,
Beldar
I agree with the last post. I they are always there and engaged in the game they should get the reward. You could even do some of this via e-mail if need be. I have even given half XP to players if they have to miss a session once in a while. I think that as long as they are there most of the time and adding to the game that they shouldn't be punished for missing a session. It also helps to keep them somewhat close in level to the other PC's. Beldar
Hello all,
Beldar
I had this exact thing happen to me when I was a new DM. I started running the adventure and about 3 weeks in someone finally decide to tell me that all but one of the players had already played the adventure. I'll have to say, I was pretty mad. The players said they would still play and not use thier OOC knowledge. That didn't work at all. I think that they can say all they want that they won't use the OOC knowledge, but I believe that that's much easier said than done. I think you will need to change the adventure completely for it to be fun. I would just try to find something different to run if it was me. Beldar |
