Hello, I've been invited to a Pathfinder game. I have experience roleplaying, but not with this system. I did get a chance to sit in a game (2 hours, solid combat), look at a character sheet (made no sense to me), and glance at a book. Is it as combat oriented as it seemed to be? How much flexibility and variety is there in creating a character? Are there supplemental books that expand upon races and classes or is the main book it? Any random bits of advice for a newbie?
