I should clarify that the two suggestions above are really more for the "eat" than the "meet." Neither is very large. El Toreador can accommodate only a party of maybe 16-20 seated together. But still definitely a place worth checking out for anyone in favor of (or undecided on) Mexican food :)

I would highly recommend two places in Redmond:

1. El Toreador for very affordable and delicious Mexican fare. It's on Leary Way, Northwest of the Marriott and 1 block north of Half Price Books (which is also a pretty good place).

2. In Redmond Town Center, directly above the Starbucks, is a Mediterranean place (mostly Greek -- Gyros and the like -- but with some other influences), the name of which I don't recall. But I go there whenever I can. Super friendly people, good prices, really good food. Perfect lunch (or early dinner) spot.

Claim Jumper is pretty good, and you get a lot of food, but it's a little more than I usually want to pay (I'm just cheap). Also, I recall being put off by their meatloaf.
