The challenge is to make the highest Strength possible for a level 20 human. No items to modify him/her, no 3rd party, 25 point buy; everything else is free game.

Bonus points if you can avoid using more than 2 rounds of casting buffs.

Ragechemist2/Barbarian11/Sorc1(draconic)/DragonDeciple6
So far my best is: 18(base)+5(lvl)+6(EldrichHeritage ORC or abyssal)+4(Dragon Deciple)= 33 +6(Greater Rage)= 39 +6(Mutagin)+ 4(Bulls strength) = 49 + enlarge person for +2 size bonus making a grand total of 51 Strength?

Are you really sure you want to do this? Basically you are taking all the cosmic power of a 20th level wizard to probably achieve the DPR of a 15th level barbarian.
Well, considering he made a post about it and all, I'm going to go with 'yes'. If he wanted something else, like a dpr barbarian, I am sure the information he gave wouldn't be for a transmutation wizard.

Flavor is definitely the prority with my playgroup. Thank you all for your posts, it has given me several things to think about.

Stonebow, the ring of continuation is a great idea! I am going to take it and make it a little more specialized so that the effective price would be a bit lower. I am pretty sure that if I made it work only with transmuation spells my gm would aggree that it would fall below the 50k threshold. For flavor I also may make it into a pair of gloves, If I'm lucky I may even be able to make the gloves reinforced into quasi-iron knuckles.

Dave, thanks for bringing up the enhancement bonus aspect of the Transmutation school as well as several other great points. I'm not sure how I missed that major detail!

We are currently doing a Lvl 20 campaign where the premise is that we are lesser gods crammed into mortal shells. I'm hitting a creative wall so I came for some help/input.

First here are the constraints:

25 point buy

No 3rd party or homebrew, but the rest of the rules books are up for grabs.

Only have access to three +5 lvl items or equivilants (~50k gold value each). These items are the relics that people who worship you would immediately be able to identify you with. everything else is mundane.

My goal for the character is to make a wizard that is a god of physical enhancement, I think of him as a mix of Master roshi, and Armstrong from fullmetal alchemist.

Here is what I have so far:

Mendus the Wizard- lvl 20 Human Wizard-Transmutation/Enhancement

Core Stats (sorry if the rows don't line up)

|Base__|Race|lvl_|Class|Feat|Total|
Str:15_ |+2 |+2 | +5__|+6 | 30 |
Dex:12 |+0 |+0 | +0__|+0 | 12 |
Con:12 |+0 |+1 | +5__|+0 | 18 |
Int:15_ |+2 |+2 | +0__|+0 | 19 |
Wis:10 |+0 |+0 | +0__|+0 | 10 |
Cha:15 |+0 |+0 | +0__|+0 | 15 |

Human- chose duel talent for +2 to str and con (or dex?).

Also unsure which would be more effective 18con/12dex or 12con/18dex...

Favored school- Enhancement (Transmutation)
School bonus- +5 to two physical attributes at lvl 20.

Feats so far:
Skill focus-spellcraft
Skill focus-Knowledge (planes)
ELdrich Heritage - Abyssal- gain claw ability
Improved Eldrich Heritage - Abyssal- choosing Strength of the abyss (+6 str)
Brew potion
Metamagic- Extend
Arcane Discovery- Idealize (+4 to enhancement bonuses granted by transmutation spells.)

Any ideas on feats would be very helpful.

God relics so far:

The Staff of Mendus- a +2 weaponized immovable rod (treating as +1). Follows quarterstaff stats, another +2 towards impact enchantment. also my arcane bonded item.

I need insparation for 2 more relics...

Mendus's main goal for combat is to buff the party like crazy, cast enlarge person on self, and then cast Transformation to hit things with his staff...really hard.

There is a lot left to flesh out with the character but im hitting a wall so any input would be appreciated.
