Hello all.
My party is about to make their first exit out of the black hill caves. Do you guys have any particular games that you think are fun for all but can be played with just dice for the silver disk hall? My gaming group is doing Skype games and using map tools for the table.

Next question the ghelarns. The entrap ability in a 10 foot bubble. Is that a constant thing ( ie as soon as a PC walks into it he must take a test) or is it just an attack during the monsters turn. Also will this ability stack twice so they can become helpless ?

Also any ideas for hethua . I'm worried that as a single box thy party will just rush him and kill him before he does anything. Perhaps bringing in 2 of the Skeletons during the fight, or blocking him with one at start of fight.

Would love some opinions an thoughts.

Hello all . I'm a noobish dm. Running iron gods and looking to the kasatha monsters that the party will face soon . Regular ones have 4 slams at +1 . They have 13 str. Do I just run the monsters as written with 4 attacks each? Just wanting to make sure there wasn't hidden math I was missing . Also was looking at the boss kasatha , his weapons are done at +7 but unarmed is at +2.

I know there is quite an issue with this race a pcs . But I'm just worried about them as mobs .

Oh and boss kasatha has javelins . But only shown as 1 javelin. So can he only throw one A turn ?

Hello all, I have decided that I will keep my mantle as GM for this game, and so I am looking for 2 players for our Game. Game will be every other week, starting June 20. 7-11 AM EST.

i will be following the AP pretty closely but will be open to some Ideas if you have them.

We use Map tools and Skype.

Current party is a Rogue, Ranger and a Cavalier. So looking for some classes with spell casting. feat selection will be limited to the big books. No Psionics, Unchained or 3PP.

Looking for a good mix of RP and combat, so if your answer to bribing the guard is " I'll roll my diplomacy" you are probably not gonna be what we are looking for.

Hello all. I was looking to get a game going with some friends . I was originally looking a gm'ing a game but had some people fall thru and I really think I would enjoy being a player for a bit longer before I take on the role of GM .

We were originally looking at doing iron gods but I think we are open to most campaign. Hoping for early Saturday morning, our slot was goin to be 7am -11 every other week . It is not often used during the day and doesn't cut into everyone's weekend life's too much.

Hey i know that a ranger use wand of CLW without needing to roll a die. But doe he still need to be trained in UMD? Ie having atleast 1 skill point? Or can he just use it cause it is on his list?

Hey I was thinking up a diplomancer for pfs and was wondering how charm person interacts with diplomacy when it ends. If i could make someone friendly and then diplomacy them into even better friends. What happens when the charm wears off.
Say i have a bandit who is hostile. Charm him. Don't slaughter his buddies or anything but just charm him and take him away. Spend some time get diplomacy to cap out. Now charm wears off.

How friendly is he now? He can be lawful evil. Just trying to see if i charm someone will thy instantly revert to hatred. Or perhaps i charm the town mayor who wasnt hostile just unfriendly and then diplomacy him. Where does he end up?

Do they know they have been charmed?

Hello all, Looking at starting a character for PFS and also perhaps the next campaign I can get in. Originally I was thinking a Necromancer but decided to steer away from moral ambiguity and GM Fiats. So I decided to move to a Eldritch knight. I have played in a pathfinder game before but I have never multiclassed or used a PrC.

I was just looking to find some advice about how I should build him. I was thinking fighter 1 / Wizard x / EK 10. The thing that I dont understand was that as I was looking for info on EKs I saw a guide about how to get into the class earlier mentioning Wizard/Fighter 1 and then straight into EK.?!?1 How does that work, I dont understand how they could just jump into the class when they need to be able to cast level 3 Arcane, and then I saw things about being able to go from magus 1 and that just confused me even more.

I'd like to be able to get into the class ASAP but not sure if MAgus 1 is a good start, or how I would be able to go from Wizard/Fighter 1 straight in. IF anyone can explain the process to me, and perhaps give me some pointers on which one is "best" or what the benefits to each set is i would REALLY appreciate it.

I have played PFS before online with some friends and had a good time, but now I am looking to do one in a store with a new group of people. I'd like to run a neutral necromancer wizard. From what I have read I can use Animate dead spell to create undead and as long as I don't use them for nefarious purposes It is not a evil act. Is that something I can point to any GM and say this is official?

And another question about animate dead. I have been on PFSRD and it talks about making variants of skele's and zombies, but I can not find anything on official rule page or in my book about that being alright except for ultimate magic saying that it CAN'T make a variant, but nothing in regular that says that it can. I saw on PFSRD about an editors note, but I dont want to do anything without having sources cited.

( I know I wont be using these spells for several sessions but I want to make sure that I will be able to run the character as I would like and not have to change him or let him go after running him several games.)

Hey guys. Starting up my games tomorrow but i wanted to make sure that players had some more fleshed out backgrounds and i was looking for some tools to help them out.

One of my players backgrounds begins and ends with " Goblins burned down my village" so i know there is something in ultimate campaign. I remember reading on forums for a 100 questions for your character that looked really awesome but i cant find it now. If anyone has that link or others i would really appreciate cause i want my game to be more about interactions and not just combat stats.

Looking to start GM'ing for the first time. I have played for about 8 months before but i had to leave cause of constraints. Its been a while since i played but i got the itch and wanted to start up a group. Ill be using rise of the runelords.

But the schtick is that I am trying to get my younger sister to join in. She has never done a rpg game other than final fantasy and WoW so this is her first toe dipping into the lower pits of nerddom. I talked her in to giving it a try. But i wanted to make sure it was something she would enjoy before start the campaign.

So I am looking for a good little adventure i can run with her for an hour or 2 and see how she does. With me never having Gm'ed before i dont really trust my abilities to get this right and dont want her turned away because i threw in a early goblin chief. I may have another friend of mine join into to do npcs or maybe a second character.

Any suggestions would be awesome.

Hey Ive never really played any kind of TT RPG. I love RPG's and Ive had some interestt in Tabletop for a while but Ive never actually given it a real go. So if you have a group that could bring in a noob I could be your guy.

My schedules arent to crazy but prob cant do saturday nights. and dont want to be up to late during weekdays ( I work at UPS early in morning)

Im looking at buying BB or regular rule book soon. Id rather just buy the Rule book if some1 already has the BB. But ill do what it takes to get going. Thanks for the info.
