Male Gnome Level 0

Zooke smiles at her. "I am fine." He says. "But it appears your friend has run into trouble in the cave."

Male Gnome Level 0

"Hopefully we won't run into anything nasty before we're able to get to a market. Or at least rest." Says Zooke, keeping an eye on the horizon. "I heard something about a tribe of Sand dwelling Lizardmen who live here." He says.

Male Gnome Level 0

"You could borrow some of my clothes." Zooke says to her.

Male Gnome Level 0

Zooke pokes his head out of the Princesse's Carriage. "Just doing my royal duty as a court fool." he says. "What happened to you Leaf?"

Male Gnome Level 0

Zooke points at the skyfish.

Male Gnome Level 0

Zooke throws a pebble at her head to wake her up.

Male Gnome Level 0

"I'll try not to." He says. "Being with you is helping, a lot. Being on this adventure, but after a while the sand gets to you. Nothing but sand everywhere."

Male Gnome Level 0

"I've got family back home. A little sister I never got to see grow up." He says. I... I don't think the pain will ever go away.

Male Gnome Level 0

"Humans enslaved me, kicked me around and generally treated me like dirt. Kept me in one place and started the bleaching. Quite frankly, I don't care if it's not right." He snaps.

Male Gnome Level 0

"He was trying to screw you over." Zooke points out.

Male Gnome Level 0

"I wasn't sure if you were going to be able to haggle him down, so..." he hands her the bag.

Male Gnome Level 0

Zooke, meanwhile just shrugs a bit and reaches out to help himself to one of the bags.

Slight of hand 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19

and manages to pocket one.

Male Gnome Level 0

Well.. we could always just search until we find something. he says.

"I think they've got everything we need at this stand!" He says, leading her to a stand.

Male Gnome Level 0

"I wonder if they have tanglefoot bags." He says, walking beside his friend.

Male Gnome Level 0

Zooke nods, then looks at Enall. "That looks painful. He says. "Well, let's go."

Male Gnome Level 0

Zooke shrugs. "I got nothing else to do really." he says.

Male Gnome Level 0

Zooke strokes her hair. "You know what makes you different Leaf." He says, smiling down at her. "This." He wipes her tears away and offers her a hanky. "You feel guilty, and that's good. If you didn't, then you'd be no different than the emperor. He delights in his cruelty. You regret yours, your worse moments. You repent for them and they hurt. As long as it hurts when you do things that are wrong, you know that you are on the right path. When it stops hurting, that's when you've lost yourself." He pauses and grins. "That ditz is just plain mean to everyone who isn't herself. She's like that because she's picked up every possible botching and itching that you can think of."

Male Gnome Level 0

Zooke smiles at her. "They're goblins. We're not expected to get along with them. It's understandable you don't like them. I don't care for them either. I don't see why they needed last rights, they were dumb enough to attack us. They got what was coming to them. But, well some people want to be nice to everyone, even stinky goblins. That's their problem and they've no right telling you how to live. She didn't have any business saying things like that to you."

Male Gnome Level 0

"Why would you think you're anything like him Leaf? Zooke asks her. "You're a wonderful person.

Male Gnome Level 0

Zooke grins. "A wizard doesn't let just anyone share his books, does he now?" He says, eating the soup happily.

Male Gnome Level 0

Zooke points towards the kitchen carriage. "The half-orc probally knows where the meat is."

Male Gnome Level 0

Zooke reaches down to bet one, and gets a finger bitten for his efforts. "I think we need some ground up meat for them. He says.

Male Gnome Level 0

Zooke looks down at the kittens. "Can't say I have. I raised a rat once, but I've seen sand kittens and these little guys seem to be near weaning age. But they'll need dead things. Maybe we should ask them what happened to their ma."
