Zirul notices everyone admiring the statue and says "If I were you I'd stay away from that thing. I remember hearing about a sort of snake god cult that worships a snake with a human head often referred to as Naga. This statue resembles what I has heard of, but I can't seem to remember how vast the religion is or what practies they partake in."

Zirul looks quisicly at the constable. "What was that about a 'child-stealing muli-headed monster'? Where abouts has such a creature been seen? This information could greatly aid in our investigation into the odd goings on of this town."

Zirul follows the old man into his "shack", ducking slightly for fear of hitting his head on the ceiling. He looks around at the utter disarray the surrounds him and thinks "I knew humans were messy and unrefined but this is ridiculous."

Zirul points in the direction of 20 on the map. "If we want to talk to the elderly woman, if my memory serves me, is that direction. And if she turns out to be friendly she may allow us to camp in the woods near her property. This way if we'd like to sent a scout to the temple we won't be to far away."

Zirul takes a good look at the map. "Since time is of the essence we may want to hit the temple first." He puts his finger on the mayor's house on the map and slides it along the road "Since I'm sure we will be taking this road here...following it around we will run into the driveway of the temple before reaching the drive of Lady Merridie." He continues along the road "We will then continue straight along the road to the grove."

When Cerilis had completed his description on the night events Zirul steps forward. "There was something else, Lord Mayor. Each man that accosted us bore the same tattoo on their chest. It was of a serpent in a circular shape, swallowing its tail. Do you perchance know anything of this symbol?" After mentioning the tattoo Zirul will observe the Mayor's reaction.
