As you all arrive at the Dusk Market, you notice that many of the personnel seem to be missing. Most noticeably absent is the man who sold Daechir his bow, and the evil cleric who had promised to help you. You don't see the poison-monger Gnome around, but that could just be because he is in his lab. You feel the eyes of the guards turn to you, as usual, a group of four draws the attention of wary guardsmen.

Big: Getting a box like that shouldn't be too difficult, it would be fairly trivial for a locksmith to make one

Aeryn
While speaking to Ailyn, the topic of the Council comes up. "The Council may be planning on making a move against us soon. Unfortunately an incursion like ours into the Knot wouldn't have gone unnoticed by them. When Janiven returns we should know the full extent of their plans, until then I would focus on preparing myself for the events to come."
You are also informed that it would be simple for somebody like Daechir to trap a Dire Rat, they would likely be found in the Sewer or shallow marshes.

Imp, is there a specific type of poison you are trying to make? I suppose you still have the ingredients you stole from Arvanxi's house.

Aeryn
When you approach Ailyn she immediately notices the relic that you are carrying. Stunned, she asks: "I trusted you would return, but to retrieve the relic from the Knot so quickly is astonishing!" When you ask about trapping dire rats, you are met with a confused look. "Why would you want to trap something so disgusting" seems to be the general response you receive from those in the base.

Daechir
You notice that Arael is here, however Janiven, as usual, is nowhere to be found. When you inquire as to the fate of the person you framed, you are met with a knowing expression. Arael simply informs you that a wealthy noble was recently arrested on the grounds of stealing gold from Mayor Arvanxi.
After searching for a while, you find that there is a marsh adjacent to the Adivian River about 40 miles to the north. This seems like a likely place for a manticore to make its home.

After making your way from the Arvanxi's mansion back to the hideout, you take a while to mend your wounds and get ready for the battles to come.

This is a recruitment thread for a RL campaign I was running that we are now moving to a PBP format. This thread is just so that I can get all of my ducks in a row.

Please post here if you were part of my game, with your name please.

I would love to be a part of this game, I also have a friend who would like to come along as well, I'll have him post here.

One question though, this is set in an older D&D setting, but will we be playing Pathfinder or AD&D or similar?

This seems really interesting, I am fairly new to RPGs in general, (Tabletop at least), but am even newer to playing them by post, would you say this is a, not necessarily friendly, but reasonably easy to pick up campaign, or is this more for seasoned players?
